My thoughts exactly.

I am probably not alone in thinking this proverbial house of cards has not even begun to collapse at it's weakest point.

You can't raise eyebrows because they are bushy. And it is the Dow Jones who's eyebrows are Bushy.

It means that the government will be backing any loans that individuals and private investors get to buy the toxic debt.

In lame words we the tax payer will be funneling the loses that the let say investors and individuals get if the toxic debt is not resolved.

Isn't that great?

Maybe ATS should start a way for us the members of this side to create an investment group to get backed loans from the government to buy some of that toxic debt.

Just joking.

Still I wonder who will be the selected few that will be getting the let say loans because I bet that we the regular joes will no be able to get into it at all

Oh, my
that is what I was thinking along the lines but with the toxic debt buy out with government backed loans.

I just posted about that and I just read your post.

I think we may have a brain storm in the making here.

Get this people,

Another Stimulus Bill Already in the Works?

No wonder China is worry about their investments.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday there are no immediate plans for a second stimulus package, but she didn't rule out the possibility of having one in the future…

President Obama last month signed into law a $787 billion stimulus package. Pelosi said her preference is to see how that works before moving on to an additional stimulus package.

I guess now that China is financing the economic stimulus is time to secure another one.

If this is true our economic recovery is nothing but an illusion.

edition.cnn.com...

Despite concerns about an increasingly unsustainable debt, opinion makers are urging Congress to eschew those concerns and pass another stimulus package. Many economists believe that the first stimulus package was too small and contained too little in actual stimulus spending and too much in tax cuts. Their message this time around: go big or go home. We have already gone big. How much bigger can we go?

Darn if the tax payer bends anymore we will be walking with our heads between all the way in our butts.

What?!

This was from 3/13/09 layoff list -

Freightliner - LAYOFF 2,100

www.news14.com...

and this is listed on 3/14/09 (in line for tomorrow)

Freightliner Opens Plant In Mexico

GASTONIA - It was a different kind of Mexican standoff. Roughly 75 of the 240 workers being laid off from the Freightliner components and logistics plant Friday showed up for their final day of work wearing sombreros - a symbolic protest against the truckmaker's decision to open a new $300 million plant in Mexico while layoffs cripple the company's American work force.

I know this isn't the "market report" - so sorry to go off topic -
