Looking at all this from across the pond, the constant bickering and political baiting is most entertaining. What with all the partisan oneupmanship going on and all the personal attacks.
People really need to take a step back from it all and take a real hard look at politics and what / who they are presented with. Only by doing this can you come to realise that you are all being taken for suckers. All these "talking points" about what somebody said or who they are affiliated to are there by design to mask the fact that the candidates are completely clueless front men for the big money holders behind the scenes. When was the last time any one of these bozos actually did anything positive for the country of for the majority of the people? That is what should be the focus, not petty partisan bickering whipped up by the media talking heads whose bosses have a vested interest in the outcome.

McCain is to blame because an average guy asked Obama a question
It has been noted that an average plumber does not make $250k a year.
So the "average" argument is a non-starter.
Average plumber income is $47k.

this would be a company with employees, it could be quite possible for a owner of a plumbing company to make that much, which is not what he clears personally

Joe the Plumber does not make $250,000 a year. He asked what would happen if he went in to business for himself and bought a business that made $250,000 a year. He said he's worked hard and now wants to fulfill his dream.
He asked a simple question.

Obama's socialism plan will destroy small business. It will destroy people wanting to be successful.

Obama's plan is not socialist, but it is a step to put up a damper to runaway inequality that corrodes America from the inside.

Inequality - OVERTAXING those who actually work and are successful in order to REDISTRIBUTE it to those who don't pull their weight. That's inequality. Taking - YES TAKING - from those who work and giving it to those who don't.

Apparently this Joe the plumber guy , 1. is behind on taxes, doesn't even have a plumbers license and neither does his employer.. this guy is going to be ruined by these political games..
Why should a guy need a plumbers license.. any licensing to me is just wrong.. thus why I do my own electrical and plumbing etc..
But none the less this guy is going to be ruined by these political games now that hes being investigated by every media outlet out there, every agency that possibly exists..
Yet one more item of proof that we are slaves.. free range slaves, but slaves none the less.

Please don't try to make it seem like people with lesser incomes don't work,
that's just an insult to many workers, including the real "Joe Plumber" folks who make $47k, and not the fake plumbers with $250k in the bank.

You complain about 'insulting' people and yet there you are saying that plumbers who have worked hard, saved their hard earned money, and who want to buy their own plumbing business are 'fake plumbers'.
