Uh, he's not Todd Palin. And you dispute that McCain used him? How many times did McCain mention him? How many times did McCain use his name in the last debate? Like 21 times?

Go ahead and spin it however you want to Gamergal...i don't take any creedence to anything you state anymore...you are too biased for me to have any respect for your opinions. I can respect many on these boards that have a differing opinion than me...but you will never be one of those people.

Your -3000 point total shows how much of a problem you can be.

Maybe some with Obama do that. Don't lump me and the rest of us into that category. I've heard plenty of McCain supporters say the only reason Obama is in this election is because he's black and getting the pity vote.

Fact is, there are people who are racist who won't vote for Obama simply because of it. There are people who will vote for Obama because he is black, which is also racist.

Honestly though, with all the complaints about the election process and liberals that you seem to have, do you actually ever discuss the issues?

Here I am, discussing the issues from the Conservative's side in a debate: Challenge Match: Sublime620 vs Maxmars : “Give All of Us a Break, Will Ya?”

Maybe you should try that for a little bit.

Does it really matter what he does for a living? He's an average American that owes money to the government. He asked a question that made perfect sense....

I don't see why scrutiny is being put on him. Maybe because he asked Obama a question he can't give a clear answer to.

Joe the Plumber....what a freaking joke that is.

I think we should capture joe the plumber, waterboard his ass (since it's legal and not torture) and find out who he's really working for.

Why is that? Because he asked a legitimate question?

Face it. No matter if HE is legit or not, there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Americans that his question DOES apply to.

You Obama supporters are just mad because Obama answered Joe truthfully, and that truth spelled Obama's economic plan as nothing more than glorified welfare. Socialist to the core.

I hjeard Joe on a national show. The host ask some basic questions and let him explain his situation.. Summary.. He hasn't qualified yet for his liscence because his ex wife has moved to a couple of different states and he followed (not stalking) to stay close to his kid or kids (good father). You have to be employed and tested for 'X' period of time in each state (Govt. at work). He has talked with his employer about buying the company, and he will be taking his test in the next couple of months...
***NOW lets assume a couple of possibles.. lets say there are 3 plumbers employed 30 hours a week (billable time - I'm excluding travel) and they charge $60 an hour (good luck finding some one that low priced)
$180 an hour --- $5,400 per week --- $280,000 per year and depending on your incorparation status... You make over $250,000 per year... It can get very complex and scarry... If you haven't been there (actually owned a business or done the taxes DON'T EVEN START TO ARGUE THIS - it's the govt... and the tax system... The US has the second highest business tax rate.. That's why that German company can buy Budwiesser.. even after paying for the purchase they make MORE profit AFTER taxes than A/B does now!!!. A national sales tax with a refund to cover the poor is the ONLY WAY... simple and easy to understand!!!!

He may not be a plumber but his his proverbial plumber scenario is very, very real in America.

Obama got caught uttering a freudian slip, then poor Joe gets attacked by tons of reporters that should have been out looking into Obama's birth cert status.

Ah yes. True. You mean like the one's who make under $250,000 a year, most of them probably under $100,000 a year. The types of guys who could use a tax break?

No doubt. Those real plumbers... well, let's just say McCain wouldn't be able to use many blue collar guys or small town workers for economic proof of his tax theory.

And there you have it, folks. Question the messiah and the Obama supporters would have you waterboarded.

Who cares what his job is? As an American citizen, he has the right to ask whatever question he wants of Obama in the situation he was in. The lowliest street bum technically has that right. The attempts to dig into this man's past in order to discredit and silence him are appalling and a little bit frightening.

I couldn't care less if 'Joe the Plumber' lied like a friggin' dog. 'Joe the Plumber' is not running for President, Senate, governor, or even city dog catcher. His question was legitimate. Is this how we treat American citizens who dare question our leaders?

If Obama can't answer a simple question without revealing his socialist tendencies, that's his own damn fault.

Neither Obama nor his campaign have objected to "Joe" asking a question of Obama. Obama answered Joe's question, both in person and in the third debate, fully and carefully. And neither Obama nor his campaign questioned Joe's legitimacy. McCain made Joe a "star" by referring to him 21 times and the press ran with it. They made him an instant celebrity.
