mods, please move this to the proper place if i'm off here.

the reason i feel that this should be on ATS is that many of our heros are within the conspiratorial or science realm that intrigues us.

so i ask: "whom is your hero?" -- albeit a truther, a scientist, an educator, prophet, artist, or public figure head.

mine are: nicola tesla and stephen hawking.

nicola for his astounding discovery and invention, and stephen for his amazing theory and ability to withhold preservation of life and mental stability regarding his deeply disabilitating disease.

tell us about YOUR hero!

(please note. this isn't a religious debate thread, or any other debate topic. just a simple question)

thank you.

Amoung many MANY other quotes, and acts that he did.

Who famously said,
"A republic, if you can keep it"

When asked what kind of goverment the newly formed United States would have

My hero? Probably Plato, he started a revolution of thinking outside the box and challenging ideas.

A close second would have to be Rambo. He kicks serious a$$!

John Adams (second POTUS) - for integrity, grit, strength, cojones

Martha Stewart - for ingenuity, organization, ambition, retaining an audience despite a prison record

Scarlett O'Hara - for her beauty, strength, grace, no-nonsense attitude, and willingness to do anything for what she loves

Gwen Stefani for her near flawless fashion sense.
