Are we supposed to be looking at the stationary object in the center of the screen? If so, couldn't it just be a space station? It doesn't move or anything so what makes this so unusual?

Bubbles. This was obviously faked underwater.

I imagine after all this time the ISS is carrying its own little cloud of crap around with it.

The stationary obect in the middle is indeed the Space Station. What interested me was the multitude of bright discs flying around the ISS


You can even see one in close up as it passes in front of the camera

If you slow down or pause the footage as one of those
flying discs passes by, you can see that they somewhat
resemble the discs that are in the STS-75 video.

I don't know what these are but if I had to guess I would say space dust.
