Does Stewart criticize Obama on his show?

Or just go for the cheap laugh at the Republican candidates ?

Is fair and balanced a part of what he does or is it just a comedy show?

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS:

Yes he Criticizes Obama on his show...when Obama says or does dumb things. He has also had MCCain on the show.

Yes he gets "cheap laughs" at the GOPs expense...they make it very easy these days.

Fair and balanced isn't neccessary....it's a COMEDY FAKE NEWS SHOW.
They have "the best F&*king news team ever!" Thats the actual name of there news team
Lighten up. The show leans left, but takes a lot of swipes at Democrats.

Be careful. Comedy Central is part of certain forces. It is a mouth piece for certain interests that seem bent of re-forming the United States as some kind of European, Hyper-Urbanized State.

Meh... I don't know that you can even begin to prove that statement. The Daily Show started off with a completely different host and the style was different - I think Craig Kilborn (sp?) had it originally.

Then Jon Stewart came in and took over. He definitely speaks his mind. Obviously he has writers, but even on the writers strike, the show did not stray far from it's usual theme.

Stewart rags on the Republicans pretty hard, but he'll go right after a Democrat just the same. It's hard to be completely balanced, and I think Jon Stewart tries his best to do so. I doubt he'd ever claim the show to be balanced, because it's not, but it's not nearly as far out to the left (or right) as most.

And the Colbert Report... well that's just a spin-off show from the Daily Show. Simple as that.

Fair? Possibly just a hell of a lot easier to laugh at McCain and his platform. Its sickening that people even side with them anymore (MCCain/*Apaulin).
