I wouldn't want to try and extropolate that ticker as representative of ALL undecided voters, but I think it's valid for what it is. It's a small microcosm of uncommitted Ohio voters.

Maybe after this debate is over, there won't be a partisan cheering for just one candidate as they walk offstage. I would like that.

Ticker does not like McCain's health care plan he is talking about now; they really liked Obama's. Men seem to like McCain's plan a bit better than women. And vice versa for Obama's.

Not only cable. I have Dish TV and it's doing the same. The audio has gone silent for a few seconds several times when both of them have been speaking.

Obame "Joe - your paying zero"

McCain "ZERO????"

Obama "Yes, zero, read my plan it was in the last debate"

Yes, I think that hurt him that he didn't deny that, however, I wonder how many of the viewers actually focused on that facet. I think Senator Obama is a magnificent orator, and he is able to address things without really denying or endorsing them. Of course, all successful politicians do this, Senator McCain as well.

And yet, I have never seen one politician that actually followed though on their campaign promises.

McCain is more fired up this time. He doesn't look as stiff. I don't think he can win the election unless he steals it though. Not the popular vote anyway.
At the moment they are discussing health insurance and Obama has a good comeback for being accused of giving people a fine for not getting th health insurance Obama approves.
I like how McCain addressed specific commercials eariler that misrepresented his view on things.
I just wish they'd let the 3rd party people in on these debates, but it will never happen, they have a stranglehold on power and oppose anyone trying to question it.

Too much of "Joe" already.

McCain is discombobulated.

"Yall just heard my plan" Why does this crack me up? Totally dodged that one.

Obama has been 100% more explanatory answering the Debate questions than McCain. It is truely astonishing to me!

OK, with healthcare, Obama wins handsdown! McCain's plan is about as bad as his mortgage plan. McCain's attack on Obama's plan shows he has not even read it! And he just screwed up, the government has growm 60% in the last eight years, and that lays in the laps of the Republican party!

Now I don't support McCain but if I did, I would totally use that line to my advantage.

Joe the Plumber. Joe is all of us. He's the common man, whom apparently both Senator McCain and Senator Obama talked with.

I think Senator Obama just scored a point with his "I want to reduce your health care costs, Joe." I think he's behind on this debate. Both are more animated and engaged that I dared hope.
