Ah, don't I know it. I just know I've read somewhere (site rules, maybe?) that we should all bother reading the previous posts in a thread before
replying, if only to keep ourselves from looking foolish. I understand that a thread of this magnitude is daunting, but is it really too much to ask
that people read at least the few previous pages before they post?
gypsy1035, I"ll just copy/paste from my response a few pages back: "The 14 October issue was brought up earlier by another participant in this
thread. This was my response then and it still stands: 'Please do not bring the 14 October predictions into this thread. As far as I'm concerned,
this has nothing to do with Blossom Goodchild and her giant mothership. As hard as it may be to believe, some of us are quite capable of seeing
Goodchild and her predictions as silliness without rejecting every other piece of UFO evidence. I spent a fair bit of time over on the 14 October
thread, goofing around with other ATSers who also think it's a joke (I apologize for offending anyone) and spotted this footage this morning. The two
subjects have nothing to do with one another. It really is not that impossible.'"

i agree
this should be treated as a separate ufo sighting......
the 14th october should be looked at as a hoax, a fraudulent date, we can learn from it to be careful who to trust in future.. and move on stronger

I am a little lazy right now, I'm at work and I was following this thread or topic yesterday.
I know someone said they had e-mailed BBC, if anyone doesn't mind repeating themselves or doing me a favor. I would like to know if there was a
response, I know someone said to not just reply without reading so I won't end up looking foolish but work today has been a little busy.
If the e-mail was answered what was the response?
was it a joke on their part? do they claim to not know?
I would apreciate if anyone would like to answer any of those.
thanx in advance.

anyone see similarities watch at the 14 second mark
From 13 secs, if you look at all the black smoke at the top left hand corner of the screen, you will see that the object passes in between the WTC and
the camera.
Because the object is very blurry, my guess that it is quite close to the camera.
My guess is an insect. No UFO there.
Different situation from the OP's video.

I sent the email to the BBC; they still have not sent a reply.
Another participant contacted the BBC via telephone and, after being transferred to a main office, received no answers to the enquiry. He essentially
said that the man danced around the issue. I attempted to call the BBC also, but was redirected to a non-working number.

Well the video posted by the other person (spoodily?) is def a bird. BBC video looks like it may be a bird or something that size going past, maybe
someone messing about with a control plane as they will know where they are recording the background footage, or may just be a seagull gliding?
Seriously people need to give up about the bird thing..... I've seen birds flying at high speed and it looks nothing like that. Nothing travels at
the speed of the object we saw in those videos. I would love to have an expert in video estimate the speed that thing was travelling... because I
suggest it would be 10x + faster than any bird on this planet can travel.
It is impossible to be exact but I can tell you for sure that it is between 20 and 35 miles per hour. Closer to 35, maybe around 30. I can definitely
say that it is in no way faster than 40mph.

Your honest to God, childish, sarcasm astounds me. On a board like this where we are supposed to have the freedom to discuss, analyse and entertain
those thoughts of both believers and skeptics alike... You act like the biggest disinformer I've come across in my thirteen years of study and
research.
And I thought the school holiday season was over...
Assassin, I completely agree with your post but I would suggest dropping such trite cliches as the dull "disinfo agent" accusation.
It just seems wrong to give some pillock who thinks he's funny such a label. The guy's just an unimportant troll, don't allow him more importance
than that.
"Disinformation" really does get bandied about far too much on this board.
P.s. Your "study and research" sounds very interesting. I would be grateful if you could tell me exactly what that involves. Hopefully it is more
than looking at a few websites and reading a couple of "Mysteries of the Unexplained" books.

'Rods' do tend to move extremely fast. They also 'bend' and are caught with all typs of photography equipment.
Just another possiblity
They also leave their cadavers lying around on your window pane and really bug you when you are trying to have a picnic or eat outside.
Damn rods!

I wish the mods would ban this obnoxious, smug, stupid laughing smiley! It is never used for its intended reason, only when people are making some
arrogant post, using pathetic forms of sarcasm, thinking they are better in some way than the person they are replying too.
If you can't ban the smiley, ban any poster who uses it badly!
Gypsy, what does this have to do with Blossom Whatsherface?

I agree! I have rarely seen it used to convey genuine laughter, instead it is almost always used as a mark of contempt and derision for fellow
posters much like the rolleyes smiley. This is hardly in keeping with the atmosphere which both the moderators and majority of posters have strived
so hard to create and maintain!
Oh and off-topic but triplesod I love your sig by the way!

The whole Oct 14 debacle was apparantly big news in the UK media. Having said that there is a high probability that this video is the BBC screwing
around & poking fun at the believers. It would not supprise me one bit. Afterall the mass media is famous for not taking UFOs seriously and this is
probably their attempt to cloud the issue even more. The objects are so clear and so precise it just looks way too obvious to be genuine to me. Plus
the fact there is an obvious "swoosh" noise as they pass the camera, its obvious to me that its a fake either perpetrated by the OP or the BBC
themselves.

Again, "whoosh" sound is not part of the footage itself. It was an external noise picked up by the camera.
---------------
For those interested, I now have a DVD burner and I am going to see if I can transfer the footage directly to a DVD for internet upload. I am
receiving conflicting reports as to whether or not this can be done; we'll see how it goes.

Not sure where you got that from, there was no mention at all in the UK media, no one bit, probably because theyve got real news to report.
Looking forward to the dvd rip!

Its silly for them not to reply. Quiet conformation. This was a great find and every one I showed it too was slack jawed and open eyed.
My mom laughed.
