You would be surprised then that he is voting for obama but was torn on his choice. He originally was going to vote for hillary clinton.

Apparently only Caucasians can ever be considered racist. ATS has learned me a lot. (that’s those lower test standards at work again)

Sheesh, being able to vote should require some kind of free entrance examination, nothing too complicated but enough to know major current events, government office positions, and who are in what political parties.

I would gladly fork over tax dollars for that.

And it would weed out a lot of incompetent votes, along with the dead people, sports figure duplicates, Disney characters, etc

Quite what this issue has to do with anything in the real world is beyond me and looks like just another idiotic political statement by a has-been trying to remind us he's still alive.

Your statement may be factual, but it paints my party with a very broad stroke. Not that I condone the stereotype, but our country know's so little about this man. He says he's a Christian, but spent 20 years in a church that spewed hatred for his country. He says he never studied Islam, but there are many facts that refute this. Is it wrong in the face of this information, for some of us to not have concerns, not fear mongering, but valid concerns?

After all, I'd hate to see my country end up like yours...

In England two Christian activists were approached by a Muslim policeman and threatened to be arrested if they did not stop giving away their leaflets.

What a surprise it was when they were accosted by a policeman who demanded they leave the area or face arrest. I couldn`t believe this was happening in Britain. The Bishop of Rochester was criticized by the Church of England recently when he said there were no-go areas in Britain but he was right; there are certainly no-go areas for Christians who want to share the gospel, " Abraham told the Daily Telegraph.

Great Britain is not the only European country where Christians may feel threatened. There are no-go precincts in France and Holland where Muslim immigrants constitute a growing number of the populations. Turkey, which hopes to join the European Union in the near future, is accused of harassing Christians, and even its foreign minister recently admitted that there [was] no religious freedom. "

Everyone knows that American blacks are just voting for Obama because he's black! Skinhead pro nazi groups will vote McCain for the same reason because he's white.

Anyway we all know that this is just show for the Sheeple to show them that there is a democracy in America!

You make it sound as if McCain is specifically asking for the skinhead vote.
The dangerous thing is that many will actually accept this as actual truth.

lol no one asks why so many Hispanics actually like McCain... perhaps because they work for a living and don't rely on welfare?

Polls can say whatever they wish to... I live in Phx (and trust me Mexicans don't care that he is an AZ Senator) but in large numbers those I know and meet daily (although many of them can't vote :lol
Prefer McCain

It's a sad small and ignorant side of the GOP that listens to rednecks inaccurate prtrayal of mexican americans... and one of the smarter moves of Bush that he didn't actually go off on Mexican immigration and a shame... a pity really, that something wasn't done to allow these hardworking people to vote, they are unanimously free enterprise, entrprenurial in nature and love America as a Free Enterprise oriented economy... a way they KNOW from hardwork... a person can really live the American dream.

Obama slams race and USES the race card to decieve poor Black Americans

and I must ask?

How many times will they allow themselves to be sold into slavery? And how does it make me racist because i'm not intimadated by them into walking that path along side them... any educated person knows Africans sold other Africans into slavery not White people...

and LOL here we go again!!!

I'm sorry but I am over here, 2 blocks from one of McCains Condos... and my Mexican neighbor enjoys the high dollar booze and the French Food right along side me... and what does he do? He owns a Tamale cart and walks around in 113 degree heat and the economy hasn't gotten him down... he's not after ... LOL
earning 14 G a year and getting a tax cut that saves him enough money at the end of the year that gets him... a new gold tooth and a wii...
The Mexican guy, he wants... to not be Taxed half when he breaches a six figure income ... and that guy is getting that done one Effin Tamale at a time and won't come home until he has a few hundred bucks in his pocket ( as much a DAY as Obamas moronic tax plan would save a broke arse)

and it doesn't apply to Just Black people or all Black people there are plenty of Lazy arse white people who rather save 300.00 on thier taxes and earn crap and live in LEARNED HELPLESSNESS too...

problem is..the rest of us will not be able to Get Rich... and the poor will just waste the dang few bucks anyway and the Govt not the people will have more money and control than ever

How are people too stupid to See that Party lines mean nothing and OBAMA is the Bush Hier Not McCain...even as Bush waxes utterly socialist at the end of his 2 terms... people are blinded by race and party lines and see only the mst trivial nonsense...

THE NWO Boy is Obama... not McCain... PC< Socialism, Globalism, world Unity... enjoy the one world currency that pegs our dollar alongside ....
somalias currency... enjoy being equal to some of the biggest loosers and morons on the planet Earth

people Bash Mexicans...say Whites that support McCain are racists... lol Mexicans seem to be some of the only Americans I know lately, they aren't afraid to fight...or work, or open businesses... the only ones buying houses around here...

Obama ... the President that hates America... the One thing he has in common with Bush is the everything behind all of this

I apologize, but I take exception with your assumption that education funding is the reason for ignorance.

A couple years back, we had a technology that we wanted the University engineering department to evaluate. As we looked around over two days, one thing became painfully clear.

The Indians, Pakistanians, Tiawanese, Vietnamese, and Eastern European kids were always in the library or class. The white kids were on computers doing homework, or playing video games. The black kids were on the basketball court.

Money does not equate to education. Money does not substitute for parental value systems. Money does not increase the hunger for learning.

Our school systems positively, absolutely, suck! They push kids through to the next grade level when they didn't earn that grade level!

Fail them. Oh, that's right, we don't want anyone's feelings hurt, and we don't want to damage their delicate self-esteem. So we elect instead to lower standards across the board - so we now have a country full of uneducated, unknowing dumbasses.

agreed... Internet is 40.00 a month, and as a kid I used to cut school... and go to the Library lol

It's culture and values and education in America is purely CHOICE, a reflection of how you spend your time...

Well that 90% don't really fit that category.

Seem like they do not know? Looks pretty hook line and sinker to me that at least four of them(including the mccain guy) don't have a clue in the world.

This is the one flaw of America's democracy: allowing everyone to vote. They really should limit voting to people who actually care. Only in America can a man like Obama be taken seriously for President.

It wouldn't be a hard thing to do. Just set up a pre vote quiz, and if you pass, you get to cast your vote. If you don't pass, you're out of luck. Come back when you care that voting means everything for our country and it's not just something you do every four years in favor of whoever has the D or R tag next to their name. It makes me sick to my stomach to know there is even one person who doesn't have a care in the world about the issues and just shows up on voting day to cast a vote for whoever has a D or R tag next to their name, like it's a bloody multiple choice test. Don't even get me started on race. I wouldn't have a problem in the world with black men and women voting for Obama because he is black, IF they actually admitted it. And the same goes for Mccain voters too. You can't tell me they don't exist. I wonder who "white power" folk are going to vote for? That's right, Mccain.

I wonder how many of the black americans who are being put on the spot in our streets with questions are only saying they're voting for Obama to avoid backlash from their own race? Think about that one. We won't truly know who our country has chosen for president until election day. Polls just do not matter.

No you cant do the same for Mccain, the white vote is not nearly at 90%, get your facts straight before you throw up on the internet. Im sorry that white people in general, are more educated, and thats not a racist comment, its a fact.

There was a test like that!!!! Four years ago there was a site called dontvote.org, or.com i don't remember. I don't think it exists anymore, but it would ask you like 50 multiple choice questions. You had to know who many of the most prominent members of our own government as well as foreign power players were. At the end it gives you your score and tells if you're informed enough to bother voting. Not a perfect test, and pretty easy(I missed only 1 or 2) but I think it would weed out plenty of most uninformed people.

I've never been a fan of trying to get everyone out and vote. Doesn't make any sense.
Some people don't care or, based on this thread, are just too dumb.
