When I was a child I saw a UFO. It was right in front of my eyes and I was overwhelmed. I remember it like it was yesterday. I could close my eyes right now and see it. I didn't put 2 and 2 together then but after that I experienced for the longest time even occasionally in my adult hood weird crackling inside my right ear. At the time I didn't tell anybody; because I was afraid I would end up in a mental institution and on some ridiculous anti psychotics and thus I would probably never be right again. One of the weirdest things about this to me was I hadn't even started watching the X-Files yet. There wasn't really a world wide web at the time either. This was back in the early to mid 90's. I another UFO when I was a child only this time there were other kids around. From what we could tell it was Black and didn't make any noise. It moved at astounding speed and had us all completely baffled. We weren't sure if we should tell the "adults" about it. They might just think we were making things up. But we all saw it and I'd almost be willing to bet each and everyone of us will remember what we saw forever. When I was around 17 years old I was out in the parking lot at the apartment complex where me and my parents lived, when I saw a orange orb floating around. I couldn't believe my eyes. I ran inside, got on my computer and reported it to some UFO web site. I never heard anything back from them. I also did a little searching, and found out that other people had seen the same type of UFO in the past. There is a painting of an Orange ORB type UFO. My reaction was like WOW other people have seen this same thing to, what could this be? I haven't seen a UFO in a long time. I believe that in some cases - I feel like they want me to see them. But I became afraid But I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's because of all the horrible abduction stories that I've heard over the years. I may never know what the chattering in my ear was. But I know that I can't understand it. Has anybody else experienced anything like this after a UFO sighting?

Does the chatter sound like dozens of voices talking at once?

A bug in your ear possibly?

OK. I am going to work you up to the ear crackling-but to do it I have to do it in story form so you'll understand as much as I do about it-to pull your own conclusions.

When I was little we'd go under the church, down the long hallway, through the brick wall, to a slow moving mine cart, into a decontamination room, then out to the ramp in the cavern and onto a space travelling craft-which was sorta blocky/rectangularish, wait for our time slot, up through the mountain top, reach orbit, and lock into stasis for (what I were told but never awake for) the month and a half trip to go see our friends-the salamander people.

And when we'd get back, my brother and father's (himself a teen) task was to scrub me down as well as themselves-everyone, we'd go back the way we came and go home.

And my dad would make me pee in a cup and he'd put it in my ears.
End of story.

Well, there was one time I had an ear infection and he did the same thing too. I asked my brother why my dad doesn't use his pee in my ears-cause he was using his urine for his own. He said he could but ones own is stronger to ones own.

Now the decontamination room was obviously a two way deal. Don't bring anything-don't bring anything back. Makes sense. But-there is nothing in there for the ears. Maybe it were a precaution-the after trip ear treatments.

However......the other week I was up at a lake and I started thinking about how long ago when my uncle was with some people taking care of Ness that my brother (his son before the accident, which then made him my brother) told me she is in a series (I don't remember the number). A space ship was picking her up for ?? a tune up or something.

Anyways that is not my point. My point is that at the lake I got this weird feeling that she had had twins and they were there.

But-when I got home for days my ears were crawling and crackling. So I thought commonsense like that I picked up a water parasite. I tried to ignore it. But from an earlier trip to the lake I had had a dream that focused minutely on my ears, and on each one a pulsing heartbeat from a cancerous shaped form. Microscopically.

Well that was all fine and good. But after the last lake trip it was bothering me. My advanced hearing was EXPOUNDING. My ears were crackling. Something was moving. It felt like maybe growing. Not pleasant anymore.

I had been thinking for sometime about the urine in the ears, and by the chance that it was an ant-or worse a spider laying eggs; I got over my inhibitions and just did it.

And it went away.

So take it for what it is,
leave it if you must,
I wouldn't illy lead you,
and if you have a bug,
you should just...
suffocate with your posion,
as were it not a fuss,
you'd not be in discomfort,
you must, you must, you must,
put urine in your ear.

I feel stupid now; I wrote this feeling very anxious and just realized I made a few mistakes myself. Oh well I guess I can't go back and change it now.

Hey, it happens. I have AT LEAST a few posts that I wish would fall into a black hole forever! It's all part of the simulated stimulation experience.

I noticed you mentioned that although you recently registered that you are familiar with the site, don't forget there is an edit button up by the qoute feature on the top of the box where your post appears, if you get to it quick enough that is!

And as far as the people that want to judge you for a bad post or two, don't worry about them..............some people get kicks that way I guess.

Edit to add: (see the edit function?)

I am not endorsing that your post is "bad" just giving you some feedback.

I sometimes lose hearing in my left ear or hear a really high-pitched beep from time to time. To my knowledge, though, I've not been abducted...I've seen what I believe was a UFO, but no concious recollection of abduction. Eerily enough, however, I don't ever remember being told or taught what UFOs or "aliens" were...I've just always sorta known, and accepted it as a truth, a viable part of reality. Every now and then, do ya ever get the feeling that our "reality" is That there's more going on around us than we can really see? I get that way right before the high pitched beep, like there's something around me that I can sense, or feel...but can't quite put my finger on.

i am having sort of the same problem right now except it is my left ear. here is the thread i posted
since it happened i am hearing weird clicking noises going down the back of my head. it sort of sounds like tiny little ball bearings rolling around and hitting each other. i have been practicing meditating for a few months now and i tried to do so earlier today, but the noises got so bad i could only sit still for about 10 minutes. i don't know if it was the silence that made me notice the sounds more or if the act of meditating irritated it in some way. i can sort of feel it to, sometimes in my ear but mostly down the back of my head going into my neck. someone said it is fluid draining out of my ear because of a POSSIBLE ear infection but i've never heard any liquid sound like that.

I have no nifty story like you guys, but for about 6 months I have had a strange thing happening in my left ear. If I open my mouth wide as in to yawn, or some sort of expression, it's like a slight pop, then I hear a rushing sound in it, and can't hear external sounds with the left ear... best way I can describe the sensation is, it's like without pain, the eardrum partially detatches until i shake my head or ear... strange no?

I don't know the name of the term. I recently learned my brain was not rotting-that some punches from a power tool (or any other of the stupid things I do) likely popped out my axis/axil, and it needs popped properly in place. The ball of the spine that connects to (the whole brain stem thing) the head.

Mine was sounding (still sometimes) like you described. Maybe it is the same. I was worried I had a brain cancer, due to hearing what's in my head make audible sounds like cartaliage (sp) moving around.

That's not why I went in. My shoulder was messed up. But I asked because I was in the presence of a smart guy who maybe knew.

The Asian medicine actupuncture guy said, oh no silly, you've knocked out your Axil. He went on to say that there is a type of chiropractic machine that pops it back in, simply. He described it somewhat like the piston action of a gun.

It is one of those technics that a 'specialist' and not just a chiropractor does. The next level up from chiropractics. I imagine (or heard) the cost to be around 200. I havent followed up and lost the card. I'll post back if I find the right term or business type. My insurance failed to pay my guy so I won't be calling and asking him anything for a few days at least until I have a job to pay him with or flowers to appologize the mixup. :-)

I don't want him to get in any trouble for out of certification applications. But out of kindness for my concern, he did *press* it most of the way in-which took away the sound. Only sometimes do I hear it. Still need the precision machine.

What he said sounded logical. I trusted his assessment because he fixed my long time hurt shoulder like the mystic guru from nowhere and because I'd heard he was a retired policeman. Together, for me, that was equivalent to the word of god.

Good luck, I hope this helps add ideas to your plate.

I wonder if this axil causes some of the ear complaints, or is in the connection network of this spinal ball alignment. I have the cartilaige (sp) sound to my ears when I yawn.

Well before you got into the UFOs (I am a believer also) check with your doctor and be refer to a ear, nose specialist to make sure that is not health related.

I have been suffering from ear ringing for years and I started young.

Then if nothing is found and you are healthy then you can start wondering about been related to what happen to you as a child.

Noises in the ear are not uncommon as we live in a very noisy environment that is damaging our sense of hearing every day.

well thanks for that. could well be what is causing the noise. so i guess i would need a professional to make it stop? i never had it or at least never noticed it until my little experience the other night. very likely i have caused myself enough trauma in the past to explain it though.
