What bothers me is the general intolerance of the left\right paradigm that stipulates that only its "beliefs" should be allowed in school. All beliefs should be taught, and the kids should be allowed to make up their mind. Education not indoctrination.

Okay, let's break this down really quickly. What, exactly, does the liberal left believe? Answer: That two, consenting, unrelated adults should be able to marry each other regardless of gender. ('scuse me from diverging from your post a bit below, but I noticed some people using the following arguments as valid points against gay marriage, and I wanted to address that)

The liberal left does not believe that: this is in any way equal to incest, which is overwhelmingly a product of abuse and can cause disfigurement and genetic mutation in offspring; and

this is not equal to beastiality, which is not a union of two consenting adults and represents a gross abuse of an innocent creature's life; and

this is not equal to polygamy, which is not a union of two consenting adults and often carries with it the abuse of women at the hands of a domineering man.

What does the conservative right believe? That being gay is morally wrong. Where does this stem from? Ancient and decidedly un-scientific Christian texts.

To me, the world and its educational system is pagan. And is no better then ancient rome with its rampant sexualization of every thing. Where "Eros" is worshipped as supreme. So of course, were going to have young children attend their lesbian teacher's wedding. I expect no better from pagan society. And 100 years from now, Marriage might include animals and multiple partners, or perhaps only temporary marriage meant only for procreation.

Well, see above about your silly little red herring arguments. The progress of civilization has only grown to protect individual and minority rights. So where exactly do you get your evidence that in a century we'll all be walking around in a crazed sex frenzy? Please, cite some evidence as proof.

And FYI, our education standards are FAR more based on the Greco-Roman tradition than the Judeo-Christian, and they have been since before Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Educated people know that the Greeks and Romans had it right when it came to education; a cursory Google search on the history of education will show you why.

As to the "sin of none hospitality" of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is only part of the traditional historical position of God's destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah for its never ending worship of sin and lack of repentance. Much like the Modern world religion of eros worship, and inhospitality to those in need.

And as to those who would judge others of who is guilty of transgressing against the Lord, I say unto you, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. ", and "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in someone else's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"
