You asked what they are teaching or what they should teach... I'll tell you what they should teach... The word of God... If God was present more in
their lives maybe this sort of blaspheming wouldn't happen...
And you wonder why future global forecasts show California in the ocean... well there you go... Same reason Sadom and Gamora were destroyed... Hope I
spelled those right... anyway, we are slowly but surely sealing our fate. The more we commit these acts against God the less time we have...

You know what so what. This is what we are today. What is wrong with same sex marriage anyway? I see that the world should be taught by everyone and
anyone these days. By the way the world is going, we need to be taught that any difference is a bad thing. One day this might keep us from joining the
Galaxy in peace, But we can't without getting over this STUPID IDEA OF BIBLE TROUBLE such as same sex marriage, war, government, Greed (will only
keep secrets from the advancement of the race).
As soon as we can get over this then there will be a day in the future that we will say what a retarded race we where back then, I am glad we are no
that way anymore.
Keep this in mind that we cannot get over this, even though we are a learning race. Get it through your head, we need to let us learn that we are ok
to have a girl and girl or a boy and a boy we can get along.
Its ok. got it people!!! quit being so ignorant, and get over it

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion. ...and you know the mind of God so well, do you? Love is so rare in our world these days, why do you and others have such an issue with it?
God's will? I challenge anyone to define what is or isn't God's will. The bible isn't god's will, it's mans effort at understanding God's
will.
Look at the photo that Fred posted, again...that sort of happiness should be celebrated, not condemned. The kids are ecstatic, the two women are
obviously overjoyed...nothing at all wrong with this.

No you didn't spell them correctly.
Which is a pretty good indicator you probably are not too familiar with these biblical accounts. No offense intended, that's just a fairly reasonable
assessment no?
It's Sodom and Gomorrah.
No those cities were not destroyed because of homosexuality. It's pretty clear why they are destroyed according to the Bible. Homosexuality is not
one of them.
Anti-gay Bible-thumpers use this account in their favor by purposefully misinterpreting it. There is a part where the townsmen want to gang-rape the
angels (which they think are human men), and this gets interpreted as a homosexual act. Which it is not. It is an act of Rape.
Since you say we should listen to the Bible, here is some more scripture for you to embrace. The words of Christ himself:
(John 15:12) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(John 15:17) These things I command you, that ye love one another.
(Mark 7:6) People honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

Tkain, get a life girlfriend. No kids will be damaged in this case but kids get damaged and their minds warped by hate preachers who have archaic views
of human sexuality. Not everyone lives in a homeschooled bubble.Last time I looked two women falling in love did not invoke the Four horseman of the
Apocalypse.Their here, their queer get used to it.Just for the record Sappho was writing her poetry on the island of Lesvos long before Jesus and his
Merryband of Men showed up.
Ask yourself-'Why do I hate queers?'Because someone told you to?Think for yourself .It's healthier.

What a small minded people here again.
Do you seriously think God doesn't love homosexual people? As long as they treat you with respect why shouldn't you treat them with respect either?
Is it so hard for you to accept their are people with a different disposition out there?
Sometimes I think of a cartoon I once saw in Michael Moore's movie about gun killings in the US about the Christian zealots who fled from the old
world to America... That explained a lot to me why many American Christians think the retarded way they do.
Or it's just because I'm from Holland that I have no problems wit homosexual people...
You who see homosexuals as less humane really have a great deal to learn in life.
You can be Christian, but he is only good if he acts like a Christian towards others.

This is a State issue here in california.
This is a story about Prop 8 ...
Heres just a short bit In 2000, voters passed with 61% of the vote, ballot initiative Proposition 22, which changed the California Family Code to
formally define marriage in California between a man and a woman. However, other laws have been passed by the legislature (since 1999) which recognize
domestic partnerships and afford them some of the rights of marriage
A number of developments arose in the wake of Mayor Gavin Newsom's 2004 decision to perform same sex marriages in San Francisco. The 3,995 marriages
were annulled by the California Supreme Court, but San Francisco began a legal challenge that was consolidated with other cases as In re Marriage
Cases. On May 15, 2008 the California Supreme Court, by a vote of 4–3, ruled that the statute enacted by Proposition 22 and other statutes that
limit marriage to a relationship between a man and a woman violated the equal protection clause of the California Constitution. It also held that
individuals of the same sex have the right to marry under the California Constitution.\ The court subsequently refused to issue a stay of its
order.
Do people think it cannot get worse from here...
If you want this San Fransico ideogly to come to a town and state near you, just wait...
And you know who to vote for.
San Fransico is the most Far left City in the most Far-Left State in the union.
And the most far left senator in the US Senate is running...

This is for you and all the other 'word of god' people. Few handy tips from the book of moses, which is the source for the 'anti-gay' sentiment
amongst religious people:
1) Have you remembered to burn your sacrifices?
2) In a financial crisis you can sell your daughter for slavery.
3) Also you can own slaves from neighbouring nations, that can come handy in these tough times.
4) Also your duty is to stone to death those who work on sappath. Keep your eyes pealed.
5) Eating clam's is also a big no no.
6) Cutting your hair from your temples is absolutely forbidden, I hope you remember this.
7) Touching a dead pig makes you filthy. Carefull what you eat.
This is just a small snippet of what these people should be following but conviniently forget.

PsykoOps, on this occasion is right in the fact that in the Bible, in the very same area as the bit against homosexuality, it also mentions not
working on sabbath, and killing cripples and the short sighted. if you accept only one part of a message it seems to me that is being VERY dim,
obstinate and ignorant. i believe that certain people simply use this one bit to help force their own personal hates and vendettas onto others.

It doesn't bother me that certain parents allowed their kids to attend a lesbian wedding.
What bothers me is the general intolerance of the left\right paradigm that stipulates that only its "beliefs" should be allowed in school. All
beliefs should be taught, and the kids should be allowed to make up their mind. Education not indoctrination.
To me, the world and its educational system is pagan. And is no better then ancient rome with its rampant sexualization of every thing. Where "Eros"
is worshipped as supreme. So of course, were going to have young children attend their lesbian teacher's wedding. I expect no better from pagan
society. And 100 years from now, Marriage might include animals and multiple partners, or perhaps only temporary marriage meant only for procreation.
As to Christian society, the only word about marriage from Jesus is that it is between a man and a woman, and it starts when the "two become one".
The bible does not include the whole marriage ceremony laid down by catholicism and simplified by protestantism.
As to the "sin of none hospitality" of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is only part of the traditional historical position of God's destruction of Sodom
and Gomorrah for its never ending worship of sin and lack of repentance. Much like the Modern world religion of eros worship, and inhospitality to
those in need.

I'm not even sure what to do with someone like you. I have such a strong reaction of revulsion to your stated opinions, but it seems futile to
attempt to edify you. I imagine I should try to find tolerance and understanding for your backwards beliefs, but all my mind seems capable of at this
moment is absolute repugnance.
I agree- social conservatives ARE the problem not lesbian weddings.

How dare they send kids to see two people in Love.
How dare they send kids to watch them make a commitment to each other.
How dare they send kids to watch two people stand up for that love and commitment in a ceremony that the majority of society takes for granted.
How dare they surprise their teacher. Who had no Idea that these kids would be there. How dare they let these kids show love and support for that
teacher. I am furious. These kids may never be the same again, now they will think it is normal to behave like this. I am enraged beyond justification
so much so that my bigotry and intolerance has nowhere to go.
Geez, I hope someone creates a thread using fear that innocent kids are being brainwashed and are having their as yet developed sexual identity
perverted by this minority group, to further marginalize that minority group, because i really gotta let out some hate.
Those kids should be at school watching more appropriate female role model videos, some of Brittany and Paris, Nicole, and Jessica Simpson and
that bloke who sang in that boy group, Nick whatshis name, that she married but broke up with after about a year. I am outraged.
Who authorised this field trip.
A parent came up with the idea for the field trip - a surprise for the teacher on her wedding day.
"She's such a dedicated teacher," said the school's interim director Liz Jaroslow.

i honestly don't see a problem with this. It's showing the school kids that there's nothing wrong with same-sex marriage because there isn't
anything wrong.
People who critisize people for beeing gay are , in my opinion, no better than the usual racists, except now instead of attacking someone because of
their skin color or their origin, they now do it because of their sexual preferences which I find is disgusting.
There's nothing wrong with beeing gay, afterall it was nature that created those people that way...or god if you're religious.
Except it people, it's here, it's legal - get used to it!
peace!
