If encouraging tolerance and love for all humans is ignorant than I suppose the majority of the people in this thread are igonrant as can be.

As for your saying I am a liberal like you know me, I am a registered independent. I Have some politcal stances that would be considered liberal and others that would be called conservative. So assuming I am a liberal well thats just, well I think you know where I am going...

You have a problem with children being exposed to this wedding because as you say "they will find it perfectly ok and normal" I challenge you to tell me what is wrong with true love between two people? What is wrong with children accepting people instead of children hating people? What in the world is wrong with acceptance and tolerance for all humans?

Do you really find that love is BS? That is a shame. You will miss out on a lot of good things in your life if thats the case.

Besides this thread is NOT about liberal vs conservative or democrat vs republican. It is about teaching tolerance and love vs teaching bigotry and hate. Which one do you support?

I cant believe that you really think my finding intolerance and bigotry a shame a bad thing.

Like I said if wanting people to accept, tolerate and love others. And wanting racism, bigotry and all forms of prejudice to be a thing of the past is ignorance then I suppose I am as ingornat as the come.

Children are already too sexualized!
I've seen lots of threads on here about homosexuality being taught to school children and many proponents have said that it WOULD NOT be taught to kindergartners and early primary ages, well it seems THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT MANY WANT!



These children don't even KNOW the political repercussions of this propaganda,

Has the school ever attended a standard wedding on a 'field trip'?

When I was in school, we hardly ever heard of gays amongst us. No holding hands, no secret kissing. Even us straight kids didn't do it that much, at school!

People even wonder why there is SO MUCH more experimentation in homosexuality and bi-sexuality? Because it's been mainstreamed.

I talked to my nephew this weekend who goes to the SAME school I used to go to and he told me there were whole groups of 15 year old girls who were gay and they even passed one girl around between themselves!

Bohemian grove doesn't even HAVE children around them from what I know!

If it was a legitimate marrige, then the issue wouldn't be about prop 8 like it is.
It would be outrage of the school just wasting time/resorces, and not teaching the fundementals that kids are going to need.

if people want to be gay, FINE, thats thier choice.

For our country it mean allowing illigals to overrun the country
On abortion it means being in favor of Infantacide
It means aganist the death penality
It means that ONLY humans are causeing the earth to warm
It means more taxes for people
It means less freedom
More regulations

I've come to find that i am not a Demoncat at all...
I think marrige is between a man and a women (Civil unions are FINE)
I think that every illigal alien should be deported into jail in thier home country

I belive that murders should be killed

I KNOW that we are over-taxed as it is
I belive that people should be able to eat the food they want, and have a cig if they want

Just a story, cause you brought it up.

I was at a party, with some old friends from my early days at college.
One of the people there, a good freind, was a gay man.
And, the party was after the Supreme court did thier overstep of power.
He got a bit drunk, and started being loud...
Walking around the party to couples, and saying...

"Its because of me that you can't have Man and Wife on your marrige license, HAHAHA"

He took such Joy in it.
Now, he is an reasonable man, decently smart, not briliant by any means, but reasonable. So, as the night wore down, i began to have a disscusion with him.

About the MEANS in which this law came to pass.
He didnt like the way it happen, but he didn't mind because it benifieted him.

You know, you really shouldn't throw words around without actually looking at their full significance.

School IS social indoctrination. How else do you make a nation of people willing to lay down their lives for a system of government?

Everything you learn in school are the values desired by your government. Whose values are those (in your case) presumably desired by a majority of the people.

Recently (since about 1776 or so) those values have been the subject of debate, court cases and much public acrimony.

Such social indoctrination includes the theory of natural selection ("absurd", they said), the theory of intelligent design ("absurd", they said), the theory of racial equality ("absurd", they said), the theory of sexual equality ("abs...", I think we're getting the picture here...)...

So these primary school kids are being indoctrinated not to have prejudice...colour me in "not particularly concerned or aggrieved". Oh, it was in California? Colour me not particularly surprised, either.

1. No gay activist do not wish to outlaw those words, whoever is feeding you that propaganda is wrong and you will find no ounce of truth to it.

2. The tradition of marriage has been changed through out our history, this is why women are not men’s property and blacks can marry whites. Our current tradition is an already tampered version of marriage, so there is no reason why we should not change it again to include gay couples; especially since it does not affect straight couples in any way. Also if the government did not include itself in marriage and give certain civil rights only to married couples this would not be an issue in the first place. Tell me how does gay marriage directly affect straight couples in any way? It takes no rights away, it only gives them to other consenting adults in loving relationships, so they can visit their loved ones in the hospital with out complications, so they aren’t required to testify against a loved one in court (a right given to legally married couples), and a host of other basic civil liberties denied gay couples.

These parents actively made sure their children were involved in this wedding.
