I certainly do not condone racism in any form. I also don't believe that Obama supporters were right to attack Sarah Palin and her family as they have been doing. First, they claim that her newborn child was not hers, but her daughters', then they attacked her pregnant daughter, then her fiance, then her husband.

WHERE were all of you that are so indignant about the Obama attacks, when all of these slanderous attacks were made on the Palins?

Some of the more offensive threads about Sarah Palin:
Sarah Palin an open racist
Sarah Palin a secret agent for Dominionist Christianity
Palin and secret lover
Palin in internet 'witchcraft' video (it wasn't witchcraft-it was a church service)
Gov. Palins' 5th child not really hers
sarah Palin belongs to a crazy church too
Palin's 17-Year-Old Unwed Daughter is Pregnant: Shotgun Wedding To ...
Palin switched colleges at least 6 times(so, is that a crime?)
Is Sarah Palin a Holy Roller??
Sarah Palin and the Doomsday Code
BREAKING: Democrats Release Sarah Palin's Social Security Number ...
Obama campaign accuses Palin of links to "Nazi sympathizer"
Five colleges in six years? Palin is one shady Veep(are people now shady for switching colleges)
Sandra Bernhard issues 'gang rape' warning to Sarah Palin(real nice Dems!)
Rumors of Sarah Palin new baby, it's not hers!
Sarah Palinick Cheney in a dress(no-she never shot anyone while hunting)
What's the difference between Palin and Muslim fundamentalists ...

I could go on and on, but the point is this. Where were all of you that are outraged over the OP video, when these threads were posted?

By the way, it IS RACIST for blacks to vote for OBAMA JUST BECAUSE HE IS BLACK, just as it is RACIST for whites NOT to VOTE for him just because he is black. It is not racist to vote for him because you agree with his platform, just as it is NOT racist not to vote for him, because you disagree with his platform.

Let's not use RACISM for everything under the sun. There are plenty of reasons that don't involve racism.

One more point. Many people, including myself, DO BELIEVE that abortion is MURDER. Almost everyone, but Obama, believe that if a baby is born ALIVE, IT IS MURDER TO KILL THAT BABY. Or do you believe that a baby that is born alive is a cabbage?

How on Earth are the Democrats desperate when Obama is leading by a statistically significant margin in almost every poll, even FauxNews polls?!

And by all means please bring Rev Wright. Is he inflamatory and out of bounds? Sometimes he absolutely is. But should the republicans decide to bring him into the fray don't be terribly surprised if Palin's pastor in Wassila is brought in.. you know the one, he made his ministry grow as a WITCHHUNTER! I am sure, just absolutely sure that the McPalin camp would love to have this information out in the MSM.

2. "And that's the kind of people Republicans are trying to engage... Root vegetables.." - Nice ignorant mindset you've got going there. For your information, that's not the type of people we're trying to engage.

How come they flock to your rallies like flies? How come McCain did not stop the member of the public who shouted extremely hateful slogans directed at Obama?

Again, unless you're talking about rallies of another presidential election, my original answer stands. When the Republicans have an African American running for POTUS there will be people on the Democrat side shouting their hateful crap.

And why didn't McCain address the idiot who shouted "Kill him!"? Seriously? What else are you going to do, call out the person on it and let them continue yelling their violent banter? You don't address someone like that in a public speech and give him/her attention - you ignore it and let security move in to deal with them.

We're just as embarassed by those idiots as I'm sure John McCain and Sarah Palin were/are. It's horrifying to watch those people act that way and to watch it rub off on their kids.

Thanks. That's encouraging.

But what makes you so much better? You're doing the same thing on this board that they were in the videos - making baseless assumptions and spouting your narrow minded crap in hopes someone would side with you.

I'm sorry, but expressing my exteme dissapointment with people who profess narrow-minded hate and in fact racism towards Obama (his name etc) has nothing to do with "baseless assumptions". If you want to see the base of my feelings, go and watch the video again.

The way you worded your post in the last part, it sounded as if you meant ALL Republicans were catering to people like these. I can tell you first hand that we are not. I don't consider the people in these videos to be Republicans, personally, because they are voting for McCain for the wrong reasons. I consider them, those people, not Republicans as a whole and certainly not traditional Republicans, to be a hate group.

Sorry but you (McPalin's camp) cannot have it both ways. You cannot say "leave the family out of this" and then proceed to constantly stick them in the public eye. You want them left along? Fine, I concur, it is unfair to the poor kids in that family to be scrutinized but they will be so long as McPalin proceeds to use them as stage props. And also, since when is asking legitimate questions about a candidate and her family an attack? Oh yeah, I forgot when YOU don't like the possible outcome of the query.

I would LOVE to bring him into the fray, because if they did and it sank the mccain camp, then the obama camp and dems would have to have a hell of a time explaining why it is a bigoted anti american racist who obama looked at as a spiritual mentor and friend for 20 years didnt sink HIS camp.
