Here is a poll on who race helps.

Obama’s Race May Be as Much a Plus as a Minus

www.gallup.com...

Seems to me race isn't as much as an issue as some people want it to be.

Interesting that the Republicans hired such obvious CIA agents to spread disinformation and hatred to insight riot-like mentality. This is NLP at it's best and most basic form, and those sheeple just let them yell that junk into their ears with no recourse, noone says, "Hey, that's un-American, un-Republican, and un-civil, so why don't you shut up." It's too bad that those rally-goers let their ignorance show, like that.

This is NOTHING like the Obama rally I went to where everyone was engaging in civil conversation, smiling, and only cheering for Obama. McCain's name never ever even came up.

It's obvious that the Republicans want to start a civil war, because they're afraid of a black man. Clinton never got this junk. So, Republicans are more afraid of a gentleman than losing their Human Rights to the Neo-Cons, interesting

Truth is, I'm still writing in Ron Paul for President, as everyone should.

(I added "sheeple" to my spell-checker dictionary)

Uh, yeah, thanks for including all Republicans everywhere, including those of us on this board, in your comparison to those backward fools in that video.

And you're right. Those of us on this board especially want nothing more to revive the old hatreds and produce another civil war between the North and South over slavery and the rights of men and women of color again.

/*sarcasm off*/

Idiot.

Here we are, in 21st century and people are as hateful as ever. I don't care if you're a Republicrat or Liberalcan or Indendentacratan or White or Black or Hispanic or Arab or Asian, you're a damn human being. Open your eyes and say no to ignorance. I can't believe the nerve of people who proclaim America to be the greatest nation on Earth. As far as military prowess goes, yeah, but as far as everything else goes were as backwards as anyone else...

Another attempt by heroic John McCain at "reaching across the aisle...".

I disagree. That is like saying, that since they called Bush a "Good Ol Boy" that we can freely call Obama "Boy", completely ignoring the racial implications.

Like it or not, calling Obama a monkey is different than calling Bush a monkey. One is being critical of intelligence and one is being critical of race. I am not defending people who call Bush a monkey. It is wrong on both counts, but you are kidding yourself if you think that it carries the same implications in both cases.

So it's ok to make fun of someones intelligence whether they are dumb or not?

Ok pal, I've got your number. Nice try!

What if the upcoming election ends in a stalemate? Could Obama or McCain supporters vow a second US Cival War if either of their candidates don't get the Presidency?

Hundreds of electoral votes, and it'll end in a stalemate?

No, not even possible.

As for the racism, it's still strong as ever, and as you can see, it's not only rooted in the "Deep South."

Some people sure do have problems...

I posted this in another thread and going to do it here as well because I think is relevant to the topic:

I think that you need to understand what's in the mind of a person that thinks that Obama is a terrorrist or a traitor.

Since there is definately no evidence to support that you have to understand that this people are either straight up racist, ethnophobic's or BOTH.

Take a look at these videos:
Obama the arab

Obama the terrorist

Obama should be killed

The racism and ethnophobia is real, that was the same kind of sentiment that a considerable portion of citizens in this country would give to someone that was either from japanese or german decent during WW2, the same kind of sentiment towards blacks during the Civil Rights era, the same kind of sentiment towards anyone that would be linked to communism during the Cold War years, is the same kind of sentiment towards Arabs and muslims.

IMO who ever calls Obama a terrorist or a traitor do it out of these two, there is no other way around it, they might try to explain or excuse themselves as to why , but when pressed with the facts you can see and sense that there is no other reason than minds that are full of bigotry, racism, ethnophobic thoughts.

Let them be...this country in 20 or 30 years is going to be a very different country, a country where the monirities are going to rule and people with these kind of minds are going to slowly die and dissapear and then maybe 100 years from that date we are going to look back at this people and compare them with neanthertals in the sense that not because they had a brain it meant that were fully capable to understand certain things.

And I will also add, I dont think all republicans are racist, there are republicans who simply won't vote for a democrat simply because the ideals of both parties are so different. They simply wont vote for a democrat, EVEN when they call Obama a socialist and turn a blind eye to George Bush nationalization of the financial industry and John McCain plan of socializing the losses of Wall St firms at a tune of 300 BILLION dollars, BUT NO, thats not SOCIALISM, they only way it would be that is if a democrat proposes it. Thats the kind of mindset of someone who would not vote for a democrat because of the ideals, and we have lots of those too, specially on these boards.

The way the US Electoral College is set up, manipulating the Electoral votes is not beyond the realm of possibility. A stalemate could easily happen, assuming there isn't a terrorist attack that will lead to a postponement or cancellation of the elections.

Oh, I thought you meant something along the lines as "they'll gather the same amount of votes."

Well, you'll never know what happens.

I didn't think it was that bad either and it's shameful. I guess I thought we'd evolved from the Archie Bunker mentality. Apparently not.

What surprises me, is that anyone is surprised. I'm black, I'm american..this is what white america really thinks of black folk, by and large. I know it's not all, or even the majority that would act the way these people do in this video..but, racism goes a lot further and deeper than anyone not subject to it will admit to. It's not that it's not known, it's just denied. It really saddens me, because, by extension, when they attack Obama in this way, it's an attack on us all. I mean, agree with him or not, Obama is an exceptional human being, and would make an excellent president; but, I really fear for him. There are many, many white americans who will not stand for a black president. No matter what. It shows me, again, how deep the chasm really is...

It would be really tough. 38 out of the 50 states electorates have laws that say they MUST cast votes for the popular vote. It's traditional for the electorates in the other states to cast votes for the popular choice as well, though as we saw in the 2000 election, it's not unheard of that it won't happen that way.

The only time that it has the potential to do the candidates a great disservice is when the popular vote difference is razor thin, again as we saw in 2000.

I am no fan of Obama, but I draw the line at these kinds of baseless comments. However, this kind of rhetoric does not surprise me at all,for it has also been used to attack people who are exposing the fact that these elections are rigged and a sham with equal fervor,by both demopublicans and republicrats.I do not believe we actually have a two party system in this country, and voicing my opinions on this matter has merited the same kinds of responses by people who have blind faith in our false paradigm system of governance.Welcome to the club,Obama supporters.

I love how you all are so desperate that you are going out and finding the most idiotic videos of the most backwards Republicans on the planet and posting it as if it were ALL republicans......nice try........and i love how you are pulling the race card......i mean if this is unnaceptable........then isnt Obama and his 20 years with rev. wright? You are so hypersensitive to color and to the fact that hes black that ANYTHING to you is racist. It is of my opinion so many dems want to vote for this man is BECAUSE hes black, not because of his qualifications, out of guilt..........get with the program, if you are gonna spew this stuff, then you might as well make it fair. Obama associated with a whole church thats just as racist if not more so, for 20 yrs. I know this because i use to live in Chicago and i am very very aware of that church and how it operates and what its message is. Now make all the excuses you want and tell me that its not the same, you will anyway.

This is exactly what the Nazis were saying to the Jews in prewar Germany
its time when these rednecks start to do this with Muslim Americans. Just like they did with the Japanese after Perl Harbor attacks. Only thing they didn't gassed the Japs there. God Help us all!

no offence to any americans, but i woudlnt want tarred with that racist, biggotted and generaly unintelligent brush..

i really hope obama gets in! will be the best thing to happen in a long time and might actualy rid america of racisim (which woudl hopefully spread !"!)

im just an average white dude, but racisim really annoys me
, i just dont understand it at all! (an episode south park sums it up best how i feel on racisim)

Every country has its bad apples. The reason it seems more so in the USA is because we as individuals are taped more and brodcasts more then any other nation. Also freedom of speech lets people show how ignorant one can be. Your statement is like me saying, I am glad I am not an arab because they are all terrorists.

OK, here's how it's going down...

Obama will win this election because he actually has good ideas and plans for this country, not just a bunch of catch phrases and racial fear mongering.

These mouth breathers will riot and act a fool, showing themselves to be the true terrorists and not worthy of calling themselves Americans.

The police and military will round these yokels up and load them onto the trains cars with shackles. They will be taken to the Fema camps and terminated.

The U.S.A. will be the best country in the world with equality and justice for everyone.

The end.

I hope McKKKain enjoys finishing his legacy as the leader of a hate group.

Obama will win mostly because the other half of the same coin does not want to win. There were better people the Republicans could have run than McCain and not even McCain is acting like he wants to win. There will be no riots unless Obama takes over and does something crazy. Obama is taking over at the worst time to be president. There are many string pullers this is why the Republicans are not even trying. I do not envy Obama.

I am white (German/Norwegian) and the "whites" in these videos do not represent me. They are uneducated bigots who probably think the Earth is 6000 years old. I am voting for Obama because he actually has something to say and a message I can get behind.
