I'll go ahead and join in on this one. The past 4 days, as my 4 yr old puts it, the TV has been "skipping" like a dvd would. Time warner cable, in
Ohio is what I'm dealing with. Other than that I haven't really noticed anything else different YET.
Edit: Sorry, this was supposed to be in the cable thread, not this one. 2 many threads open at 1nce lol.

I think you might have been listening to Pink Floyd.
The Wall comes to mind.
I agree and right after the operator gets through the next song starts,
"Mother do you think they'll drop the bomb."
wait, wait....or is the next song dirty woman????
I got to break out the old vinyl and listen to that, just because it's been so long.

This will drive you all crazy...
On the giant Screen wall in our NOC, we have a digital clock counting down.
It currently reads:
2 Days, 5 Hours, 17 Minutes and some seconds...
I would post pictures but we're a Government secure building, so I'm not sure if I can....

Ha, Ha, Ha.
That thread answers nothing.
I want to know why my cable, radio and cell phone have had significant static and interference for the last week.
I could care less about Blossom whatever.
I am sure there are many reasons for this, one being an economic collapse or the threat of war and cutting off forms of communication.
Not everything is about spaceships.

It's not "usually" counting down anything. It is new, never been there before this weekend.
Apparently, it is the count down for registration for the Burlesque Themed Christmas Party at Legoland, Windsor. I just thought it was a strange
coinkydink.

I'm in the Northwest. My radio's, phone (ip), television, and computer all have made the same noise over the last 6 months. My son say's it is from
a satelite bouncing signal off the cell phones. And that makes enough sense to me. We've filled our environment with transmissions.
It is a morse code sounding interferrance. 1..2..3..1..2..3..1..2..3. The same always. Not with tone. Just with electrical buzz. Or rather dit dah dit
dit dah dit dit dah dit. UUU. Maybe it is a reccomendation to purchase UUU stock which google states is Universal Security
Instruments. LINK
2 shorts and a long. Three times.
Conversely-I don't read Morse code and it could be: dah dit dah for all I know, which is an equipment rental NYSE stock RRR with a +.96
rise. LINK
It also happens to my car's stereo. Doesn't matter which car. 3 so far.

lol thats hilarious
But seriously is there any interferance that can be picked over net streams, i have a serious lack of radios nearby. The galatic storm seems like a
good enough explanation.

Ok this is really strange, check out MW at about 1550 KHz. What the hell is that?
I have listened to back channel noise before and never like this.
I am in the south UK.

Ok, how about this:
If this is related to the blossom gooseberry thing, I'll eat my hat. If you send it to me, I'll eat yours, too.
I posted on this because I heard something odd, and apparently other people did too.
Dunno what it is.
(Frankly, I'd be relieved if it was some kind of interstellar alien federation of whatsits, apocalypse or no, because that would mean that I don't
have a gremlin in my wiring, which is a royal PITA to deal with.)

The time on the spike synchs up for me.
Odd that it was affecting the FM band, though.
I'll go with that explanation.
