ACORN... scandal and conspiracy?

The folks at the far-left radical activist group ACORN are embroiled in a financial corruption and cover-up scandal that they managed to keep hidden from their donors and political partners for eight years.

The Supreme Court ruling earlier this week that allows states to require voters to produce photo I.D.s is drawing criticism from voter registration groups, including one that was busted for election fraud in 2006.

Election fraud... how interesting.

Two years ago ACORN submitted just over 1,800 new voter registration forms, but there was a problem. The names were made up -- all but six of the 1,800 submissions were fakes. Reed said he was appalled.

You think ACORN is a secret government op? Throw a bunch of false registrations in the mix and then have John Doe go and vote a few thousand times extra in the name of some dead people with fake adresses?

Any body think this could sway the next presidential election? I just think its weird that they're still around and still being able to pull their registration crap after being convicted of fraud. And by the way it looks committing more fraud now.

ACORN is the "national" version of the Chicago Democrat Machine pure and simple.

As it is a "left" leaning organization.. it will be condoned and under-reported by the MSM.


Flame this all you want, but these guys are proven fraudsters and have ties to the highest levels of the DNC.

At this point with ACORN and the DNC anything could be possible. The thing creating a lot of outrage is that the Dems tried to appropriate a good chuck of taxpayer money to ACORN in the bailout bill that was shot down.

I read a bunch of stuff about ACORN and they supposedly have been under investigation for awhile with several of their members being convicted of voter fraud in several states and rumors about a RICO case being brought up.

Filing false voter registrations is not voter fraud, and in many states, organizations that collect voter registration information are required to submit ALL registrations, even if they're believed to be false.

Voter/voting fraud occurs when someone casts a vote illegally. ACORN does not vote, it simply registers people to vote. It's the job of the supervisors of elections in each state (and their staff) to verify the validity of voter registrations. This entire thing has been blown wholly out of proportion.

I read that in Vegas, ACORN tried to register the entire Dallas Cowboys roster.

In Wash. State, ACORN did the usual registering dead people and jailed felons, just like in 2006. In that election, the current Dem Governor won by around 320 votes and supposedly around 1100 dead people and jailed felons had "voted".


Just more of the same garbage, election after election.
