Obama Heckler At Palin Event Passes Off Monkey Doll to Kid

www.cbsnews.com

A man brought a stuffed monkey doll wearing an Obama sticker to a Palin campaign event in Johnstown, Pa. Realizing he was caught on camera, he passed it off to a child he didn't know.

It's too bad this man has embarrassed his family. Not that I support McCain but this was so lame! Racism appears to be alive and well, especially as the election comes to a close... I don't think all Republicans feel like this but there sure seem to be a lot of racists coming out of the woodwork as of lately.

There are alot of southern Democrats who won't be voting for Obama also. Racism is rampant in both parties. The pundits are conveniently ignoring this fact to shore up Obama's polls. He's going to get less votes in the south than he is up north I believe.

Part of me wants to vote for Obama just to make those racist haters mad that a black man is in control. I love it.
I fear though that he will be killed by these kind of people if he is elected. I hope not, that will def cause an uprise in the people and I can see martial law being justified at that time. Who knows..this is probably the elites plan. Hmmmm

Does it really matter, if black people are secure in who they are, why would this piss them of. In life people are bad, and you just have to accept that.

I say so what to this story.

Like in 70's and 80's people would throw bananas at black players playing footie in england, all the player can do is just get on with it and they did.

Why we never hear about black racism on whites. How many blacks that support obama are racists themselves?

I am not trying to cause an argument, just answer that question.

i am confused at why this is racist. what does a stuffed monkey have to do with obama? is the guy trying to say obama isn't as smart as a human being?

Thank you. During this entire campaign, I have noticed that white candidates have to watch every word. The slightest gaff, and liberals and blacks are all over it.
Not so with Obama. The media, with the exception of Ayers, Wright, and "Lipstick on a Pig," has been pretty much left alone. When someone asked a question of Obama, he skirts it. I have yet to hear a straight answer from him.
REVERSE racism is alive and well in the United States.
I don't care if the president is green with purple polka dots, if he has good leadership skills, good decision making capabilities, and policies, I will vote for him/her.
I agree with tator 3, however. If Obama is elected I will be surprised if he makes it through the first six months alive. I don't want that. I do not want to see another national tragedy like I lived through in 1963. Nor do I want another 9/11.

No, he is trying to imply that black people aren't as racially advanced as whites and therefore are closer to monkeys.
It started when the slave trade began when White Europeans saw them as tribal and savage and therefore thought they were superior to the black people, so they thought they were like monkeys because they were deemed dumber and darker. All a load of racist BS of course. As to the man, unbelieveable, trying to fob it off on to a child.

i think this will help oboma greatly if people actually believe the man was a Palin supporter. i think he was planted from obomas side, since mccain wont bring race into it for oboma, then maybe oboma is forcing the issue this way, because it can only help oboma, that is obvious, and i find it hard to believe that the "mccain supporter" didn't realize the doll fiasco would only help oboma....surely he knew that.

Obama will not get votes in the south because socialism is not popular in the South. People in the South are not any more racist than other people ;many black people choose to live in the South because Southerners are polite to all people regardless of color. Many people in the South would have had no trouble voting for Condoleeza Rice or Colin Powell. Some people are projecting their own racism onto Southerners.

I would be the first to tell them to stop. I do not know anyone who would think that is acceptable behavior. There are many powerful black political leaders throughout the South. I would be surprised if West Virginia did not have a few respected black leaders.

Isn't Obama only like a pinch of black, 50% white, and the rest Arabic? So technically if elected he wouldn't be the first black president, unless you are labeling him by the color of his skin, but there are also "black" looking Arabs.

Racism comes from every color spectrum. I've met racist members of varying ethnicity. I'm not going to vote for him because he is a liar, and a fraud. It wouldn't matter what color skin he was.

Ya it is retarded to take a monkey with an Obama sticker to a rally. But that is the beautiful thing about freedom of speech. Any and every American is free to say or express their words, and yes sometimes you are going to hurt others. Grow some skin, think up a snappy comeback, or go home and cry.

For the record I will not be voting for McCain either! I equally despise anyone that isn't for the benefit of my country that runs for president.

A lot of "northerners" aren't very fond of the blacks, and/or illegals destroying their cities either, so racism isn't only a southern/northern, Red/Blue ideology. Racism is an equal opportunity employer. No one ever said it was right.

After I watched the video I scrolled down to read some posts on the blog, here's what I found...

Now lets play guilty by association! Barack Hussien Obama is a Senator from Illinois. This is called "Change Chicago Style!" The body count! In the last 6 months 292 killed (Murdered) in Chicago, 221 killed in Iraq. Senators Barack Obama & Bick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Gov Rod Blogojevich, House Leader Mike Maddigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike), Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley). Our leadership in Illinois, all Democrats! Thank you for that combat zone in Chicago. Of coarse they''re all blaming each other. You can''t blame Republicans, they''re aren''t any! State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25%. School system worst in the Nation. This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois and he''s going to fix Washington?

Wow, this obviously comes from an individual with some knowledge of the local political scene. And no! I don't want O'Bama to fix Washington.

I don't know if this is true but if it's not accurate, maybe someone can correct it, (I found it on the web so it's gotta be true)

Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro).

Did any of you watch the video? The man took the sticker off and wadded it up before giving the monkey to the kid. He spoke to the kid's father.

How do you know he was an "Obama Heckler"?

What is an "Obama Heckler"?

What is racist about this?

I'm totally confused.
I think people are making up a story about this clip when we really can't tell what was going on. I can't, anyway.

No. His mother was white and his father was black. No Arab.

I'm with you on this one.

I see nothing sinister about the Curious George monkey/doll, and to immediately leap up and declare that it was used as a "racial" object - well, that's stretching things a bit far in my opinion.

I remember people used to call President Bush a chimp and when Michael Steele was running for the Senate in Maryland, the left called him an Oreo.

I am an African-American and I am supporting McCain because I think Obama is a socialist.
