I actually do "adhere" ( I detest the word "beieve") to the Ideas you described. I have made opinion publicly know to you all, friends, and family. If I am wrong I will have to own up to it and believe me I will face ridicule. It goes with the territory as far as I am concerned. I have no problem having salt thrown at me because I have no open sores. My friends will assuredly ridicule me and take em to task for all of the crap I have been spewing out for the past couple of years. And I'll deserve it, and take it on the chin like a man. I won't cry like a baby and piss and moan about how unfair it is.

If you are going to put yourself out there, be prepared to take in the @$$ when you're wrong.

I think we all understand Cbass intentions, though the idea of trying to mark the believers with a "gullible stamp" is quite not so nice.

Anyway, cbass...mate.

People who breath "your" air still have to be allowed to believe what they want.

Even if this prediction will not come "live", those who believe will shruggle their shoulders and move on until next precition will be announced.

It is often your own believes in things that keep you going, no matter if it is about Religons, Ufo's, bigfoot, conspericies and so on. Some people need something to hold on to, something to grasp.

So yes, I guess you struck a nerv there.
But you walked into a church, pointed towards the priest and laughed at his beliefs and tried to get the people who came there to pray to join you.

Kinda 0.01% chance of success.

We have sooo many people with different opinions and view points on this site that we can't start to categorize people after their ways to beleive and look at things.

Easier to just try to respect everyones opinion even though you might not agree with them.

The purpose of this thread is quit not necessary in my honest opinion.
But I do understand you....

And as I said, in my opinion it seems more healthy to be aware of things than blindly walk the way a prophecy tell you to walk.
But you can still hope that it is true.

LMFAO! Well said mate. It is just my personality I suppose. I also have a VERY dry sense of humor which most people in my life don't quite understand and doesn't translate well on paper.
I do understand that people need "beliefs" to keep them going but blind faith is destroying the human race. We have to stop this. We have to question everything. This thread is not in any way intended for those of us on the fence or undecided but for those who bought it hook line and sinker without question. They have their luggage packed and stopped paying their rent and taxes because they think they are getting saved. Blind faith and "belief" is exactly why we are in the mess we're in right now.

I hope a ship really does come though. irrefutable confirmation would be great. I am not so naive to believe that someone here knows all, but it's fun to speculate.

We can agree to disagree then i assume. Although your I understand your intentions for this thread. Morally and respectfully I find it distasteful. But thats just my opinion, come the 15 and nothing happens I'll be sure to steer clear of this thread then.

I mean in the end free will has been given to all of us to express themselves how they see fit. I do not agree with your way of doing things, but in the end how people decide to conduct themselves is not really my buissness.

And yeah for the record. I do not belive in the theory that Bush is evil and will retain his power in the US, in my beliefs he is just stupid so to speak and come janurary i fully expect him to run the hell out of the white house and we will most likely never hear much about him again.

If im wrong on that account feel free to tear me down I guess. If im right and the man leaves, well then that will be that.

If by confrontational you mean I confront ignorance in all of its forms and "deny ignorance" in all its forms then I stand guilty as charged. Me? Don't jump to conclusions (again) I gave up on the UFO subject a while ago.

I agree with you, but do you really need to so openly piss people off? Let the day itself show people that their faith is indeed misplaced.

This Blossom Godchild is literally promising the second coming, so the crushing realisation that it's all a big con will be hard enough, without someone taking pleasure out of their disappointment.

Would you still laugh in the face of these people if you could in the real world?

Anyway, I think its great that people have moved away from the "Second Coming of Christ" and hell to sinners, to a more openly accepting of everyone.

I am a seeker and lover of truth. Iwill hold people to task for embracing ignorance and being gullable. I hope that others will do this for me. Growth will be a natural result.
