The fact of the matter is, it isn't important right now. I would think something that enormous giving off such an aura of LOVE you'd think there were some sensitive people who can also pick it up. I don't feel any different personally, although the hype has got me all riled and I'm keeping an extra wary eye on the sky just in case.

However, in all honesty if they've come to take me away I won't go. Simply because I have come to love earth, it's home to me. I don't want to leave it - would I pass up evolution to remain on earth even if I'm the last person here? Not sure yet, but my strong feeling at this present time is yes. I'd want to stay here.

Look, instead of worrying about the 14th for now why don't you go take a long walk in a rural area. A good long sniff of nature's odour. Then go get yourself a huge hunk of crusty bread. Make a hot stew out of the best veggies and meat you can get hold of and taste earth herself. Doesn't that make you feel alive? That's EARTH that is, respect and love her because she's your HOME.

This is my 2 cents.

HOW I WOULD VISIT/ INVADE A PLANET

1) Send probes. Automated, unmanned, and as inconspicuous as possible. Soil samples, plant samples, if possible, animal samples. Stay away from the sentients for now.

2) Send a scout party. Several, actually, depending on the size of the planet, population, ect. AGAIN, quietly and carefully sneak in. all craft would be cloaked/ and or camouflaged. Observe the sentients- if there's a species issue where we dont look like them, if there's similar size/weight proportions, costuming does wonders.

3) Buy Stuff! Find out what the locals use for currency- what can be sold to get currency? Metals? Food? Skins? Buy local magazines, newspapers, periodicals. Find a library, or equivalent knowledge storehouse. Record what can be recorded.

4) 'Take me to your leader.' NOT. I would establish a relationship with a local- start looking for someone who is sane, for starters. Not easily panicked- this process may take time, and much effort to find the right person. DO NOT go with famous people. Go with someone who is humble, and doesn't see (Currency symbol here) in their eyes when you reveal who and why you're here. Or grabs a weapon. Find someone who does charity work, non profit, gives of themselves.
5) Establishment party Blend- In. This would be a specialized group of people -anthropologists, psychologists, etc, WITH RADIO EQUIPMENT. This would be the group who would blend in with the society (if possible) and remain as a contact point with the planetary sentient. Plans would be worked out to reveal ourselves to the world, and depending on which scenario, either establish trade and commerce with the sentients, and try to lower the apprehension, or stage a full out conquering. The ground group would coordinate with the home base, mother ship, and home planet. If it's commerce- slip some of the advanced tech into the mainstream commerce. Sell some patents. go to the universities and 'help' them discover things. Leave subtle clues about where all this might have come from.

In case of invasion- I would use exactly what our govts and corporations and media have done to us NOW. Snow the population under, make us blind idiots, and panic as many as possible to pave the way for a good ol fashioned invasion. Destabilize the world and every monetary system so bad, people would go for anything we'd have up our space suited sleeves. plans for this would have to go back decades, if not a couple centuries to get all operatives, agents and everything set. Depending on how long lived we were as opposed to the general populace, agents would be replaced as needed. As for the sentient in on this- I would either a) wipe their memory. b) brainwash them so they'd be CONVINCED we were 'good'. c) If they wanted in, why not. A direct mouthpiece to the populace is always welcome. Treachery would be... interesting. Nothing like making an example of one of them to the rest of the populace. Or a group.

I have NO faith in this 'channeling' stuff. It smacks too much of fairies and mythical things, not aliens with space traversing ships. IF something shows up Oct 14th, I'd be suspicious, wary, and afraid. VERY Afraid.

this part is the dead giveaway... that this is a hoax... 90 percent of the world does not have a clue about this ..... and if they were so concerned about the shock becoming too great... they would of released there message to a source that could broadcast it to the world... I work in a factory with 400 people.. I havent talked to one yet that knows anything about it.. and I never gave it away either.. I just asked if they ever read any good predictions of anything happening in the near future?? I allways just throw in the end of the world thing in 2012.. none of them heard of that one either..

Not sure I agree that she is actually predicting anything, it seems more like she is passing on a message from someone who is telling her they are are coming.

so what your saying is that if it was on tv it can't be real ? and FYI i never watched star trek so i did not know about that. but you can not say 100% that no federation is out there some where. i have to admit the odd's for it not happening are very high. like i said im not on any side about this. i used to be just like you but i have seen things that common sense can't even process. but hey im with you for the most part it's just that theres no way to tell if it's going to happen or not until the date passes. im not trying to pick a fight with you. im just trying to share my thoughts. thats all

I allways think about that heavens gate cult.. that killed themselves to hop on a flying saucer they believed was trailing the hale bob comet back in the 90s...most of them were well educated men... but somehow they were brainwashed to believe there leader.. yeah i heard about that cult a long time ago and im not sure what makes someone go crazy like that? it might just be the world some people can't handle it. as the days keep passing it keeps getting worse i think everyone can see that it's just hard for a lot of people to cope with it i guess. that might be why that make up such things they need something greater to believe in.
