Disclaimer: I am luke-warm regarding both candidates (as I believe we need a "3rd choice")...I voted for Perot...And have voted BOTH parties in the
past (Clinton (twice) and Bush)...
BUT, I voted, which is most important...
This is what scares ('scare' is a strong word, but since that was the word used by the individual who started the thread, I will use it...I prefer
'concerns') me about Obama...
I'll do whatever he says to do," actress Halle Berry said to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his
pathway clear.

In July, a 200,000-strong crowd cheered for Barack Obama when he gave his speech in Berlin. If you stroll down German streets these days, you will
come across many people wearing Obama shirts and stickers as fashionable accessories.

Walking Over Hot Coals with Tony Robbins - I went along to the seminar as a sceptic. Having experienced the four-day event, I still wonder if his
methods are entirely justified. He displayed an air of Jesus-like self importance that reminded me of Michael Jackson's notorious Brits
performance. Unlike Pulp's Jarvis Cocker, I did not feel the urge to get up on stage and bare my behind.

Obama reminds me of an African American Tony Robbins, in that he seems to mezmerize crowds and groups of people by his prescence...
It seems that his 'followers' (and I use the term 'followers' decidely) care only about him and NOT his substance (i.e. his platform)...
Regarding McCain's statement that we should "not be afraid of Obama"...
McCain could be subtlety inferring that we "SHOULD" be afraid of Obama, which 'could' cause people to stop and think "Gee, should we fear this
guy?"...
The term used for his followers, "Obamanians," does concern me, because it is close to "Messianic" in nature...
Now, "Messianic" DOES scare me...I do not need a messiah, but a leader who can get us out of this GLOBAL economic crisis we are in now...
Do I think McCain can achieve that need? No...
Do I believe Obama can achieve that need? No, once again...
(e) "Enduring Constitutional Government," or "ECG," means a cooperative effort among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the
Federal Government, coordinated by the President, as a matter of comity with respect to the legislative and judicial branches and with proper respect
for the constitutional separation of powers among the branches, to preserve the constitutional framework under which the Nation is governed and the
capability of all three branches of government to execute constitutional responsibilities and provide for orderly succession, appropriate
transition of leadership, and interoperability and support of the National Essential Functions during a catastrophic emergency;

Why?
