The US and North Korea are close to reaching a deal on the North's nuclear programme that would overcome the current deadlock, according to reports.

The South Korean and US media quoted domestic government sources as saying the two sides were near to agreeing how to verify the North's nuclear activity.

So something is being worked out with regard to North Korea. I just thought it was of interest to include it in the forum. Is the US trying to make a deal here before Russia tries something? I would have thought that since Russia is trying to create an anti-US Alliance NWO that North Korea wouldn't care about being on the US list of terrorism sponsors, preferring to have an alliance with Russia. Any thoughts?
