I always thought that McCain's porposal to buy mortgages from homeowners is bizzare and anti-american. Apparently, a lot of Conservatives think the same:

www.cnn.com...

"The guy who works two jobs and struggles to actually pay his mortgage is penalized. He would be better off under this plan to just quit paying his mortgage," Lewis said. "And this fundamentally goes against a lot of conservative principles and individual responsibility."

Wow, more useless information from CNN. (communist news network) All conservatives know that McCain is not a conservative, Hence Palin is on the ticket. McCain is barely the lesser of two evils. As a conservative, I can't stand him and think that because he pushed for the bailout bill among so many other things that he should be unelectable. A vote for either of the two main candidates is just a vote for more of the same. You get to choose from a fascist dictator or a socialist dictator. Since I pay taxes, I lean towards the fascist.

Not at all. Under McCain's plan, I am supposed to pay extra 7k a year to cover insurance for my family (even after 5k tax rebate). To hell with that.

That you call McCain a "not conservative" is a little confusing. What is he, a professional maverick?
