Anger Grows At New York 'King' Bloomberg

He is worth 20 billion dollars, according to Forbes, and in two previous campaigns poured his own money into the battle. He is, in any case, wildly popular, with approval ratings at around 70 percent.

The growing anger stems from the way Bloomberg has appeared to override ordinary people in a dash to line up support from fellow billionaires.

Hmm, not sure what to say about this one.

On the one hand, the guy is probably the best candidate in terms of his monetary and financial expertise.

But on the other hand, it sounds like he epitomizes the current "Elitism", super-rich, dictator-like favoritism and superceding of the electoral laws and will of the "little" people.

It seems like the super-rich pretty much have entire control of the political systems, throughout ALL levels of "representation"...

Should this guy and his fellow billionaires just be able to "overwrite" term limits, because they hold all the financial power?

That is exactly right. As long as fat cats like him continue to run things, nothing will ever change. Not that I think anything will change since money is power and they have all of the money.
