so obama spends that money helping, and mccain does what? run the same ole attack ads??? cmon.

Totally agree! The haters only say that because they are jealous that their guy couldn't raise enough money to run his own 30 minute pitch. Same old attack ad...LOL....again agree...that's just another example of how he is "old republican" and out of touch with the majority of America.

yes, lets liken this to a 10th grade student gov election. that will help things... NOT.

Now that is a quality response...if you have nothing of intelligence to respond with.

Did you read all of my posts in this thread or just his response that ignores 99% of what I said?

At least try to refute what I am saying instead of sounding like someone who's only come back is "...well screw you, man"

Why? I'm not agreeing with you, I'm agreeing with him. Should I have commented on your posts while directly quoting and commenting on his? WOW, this would be a LOOOOOOOONG thread if that was everyone's expectation. Sorry yours did not get my attention. Perhaps if it was to my liking then it would have.

I totally agree with that. Can you imagine an America with a true multi-party system? You'd see the poisonous partisanship we have now vanish! Congress would be forced to actually cooperate and compromise for the people.

On the other hand, election season would be freaking crazy. Every commercial spot would have 5 political ads. There'd be so much spin flying around I don't know how we'd keep our heads straight.

On the topic, he was great
Although respectively I would have liked to see McCain do a 30 minute speech. If we've learned anything from this, future candidates should all do a 30 minute speech. Sprinkle in a few commercials for toilet paper and Pepsi and it'd pay for itself in ad revenue!

I know this is a little difficult for you to follow, but try: You agreed with his post which was simply taking one example I gave and ignoring what I said multiple times. So if you are agreeing with him then you truly did not read everything and you are simply following blindly to something that was false. Of course that makes you look like an idiot.

That's fine. I look like an idiot then. But at least i'm not resorting to name calling. And, yes, I read your posts prior to posting that. I just happen to disagree with you. Imagine that. Are you use to always being right? if so, welcome to ATS, the place that will put you in your place!

Guys lets me a little civil here. Its OK to get angry but lets not push it.

I will say that this election is like a 10th grade government run. People are being elected based on looks and speech.

Its pretty sad that this thread has turned to mudslinging and name calling. I would advise that those who resort to name calling are the ones who have run out of intelligent though..... Can we get back on topic please.

Andrew... you may be right.

Wow.
I'm sick of reading a perfectly good topic and seeing it be destroyed by people who have nothing better to do with their lives than to act like children over a forum.

Seriously?
Where are the mods?
There needs to be some order restored here.

And, in regards to Obama's 30 minute special... I think it was well done.
Exactly what I expected.
Pretty clever use of using other people's stories and relating it to his own plans as president.

this 30 minute slot did nothing to help Obama! Lets Face it this 30 min slot did not change the minds of any voters, he didn't earn any new votes, its just a pep assembly for his supporters!

some people say it pulls at your heart strings, Come on you serious? why is it that only the devote Obamaites believe this garbage? the other 50% of the country see right thru this crap!

i watched the first 10 minutes and had to turn it off, it made me sick to my stomache that Americans would buy this socialist propaganda BS!
