Ever hear of the Boston Tea Party?

It was a classic false flag operation by colonials to hit the british below the belt with denial of access to tea because of an unjust tax.

So, what does the rest of the world want from the United States?

(answer: you eat it, feed it to cows, and convert it into fuel)

Another ..doomsday thread.

Well hopefully...all of this is wrong and we can live another day. The thing is, is that ...there is no credible source here. We cannot fall down just at the notice of one statement, be calm, research, and always be prepared.

I am not saying there is reason to panic. I mean look at the markets all over the world. They are falling fast. However as long as the markets are moving up or down there is no reason to truly panic. For the market to move down there has to be people still buying stocks. Somebody out there thinks it is worth it to buy at these low prices. The time to panic is when the stock market stands still. When there are no buyers for the people who are trying to sell stocks. When that happens I will start to panic. Until then, this is just the stock market falling. They will bottom out and then go back up. Scary? Yes. End of the world? Not likely!

If it were only the stock markets, it would be the buying oportunity of a lifetime, but the credit markets are what is causing the fall. There are also govt. defaults (Iceland, and now rumored Hungary), a LIBOR on PCP, the Lehman thing happening tommorrow, serious problems in CP, wild action on various currency crosses, CDS etc....

Oh yeah, here is a link to another of the folks who has been consistently more right than most about what's going on.

From Financial Sense

Mike "Mish" Shedlock has been pretty good in what he's been saying about this crisis too.

...And yet, people still continue to focus on the next football game, so they can get their fantasy stats in order...

Whoever is responsible for the dumbing down of America - they did a really good job.

I think everyone here should stock up on food and water, heirloom seeds, cigarettes (even if you don't smoke), many things that people would desperatly need if they were not able to get them, think for a bit and make a list, things you may need to survive and things that people need like medicines and stuff STOCK UP NOW!!!

The first thing you really need to get though, top priority are those heirloom seeds, not just any seeds, Mansacko or whatever that company is called manufactures the seeds to be a one time use only, that means the plants cannot reproduce, but heirlooms can.

I'm going to be stocking up tomorrow.

Peace,

Fear and panic is what is causing this. Promoting more fear and panic is not the solution. Thankfully this board is probably read by a tiny % of the nation. Otherwise, I shudder to think what would happen if everyone paniced, and pulled all their cash out of the banks. How does pulling money out of financial institutions that are causing this problem, by not lending to other banks, fix the issue? Banks will be even less likely. And the downward spiral continues.

Be a part of the solution, not the problem. One thing that is always true: Panic never helps, ever.

What are heirloom seeds and how will stocking up on them help if our economy collapses?

There is no arguing that things will be tight and even uncomfortable for many people, but this is not the end of the world.

Money is a faith based system, and the majority of the people's faith has been tested if not completely demolished. It was the crooks at the top that collapsed the financial system not the few trying to get their last dollars out.

As long as everyone is still alive, healthy and can help each other out money is only a tool.

Everyone will be ok if compassion arises from the ashes.

Say something bad were to happen like God forbid, a terrorist attack as bad as 911. Do you think the banks would be giving out money that everyone will need since they no longer have to do it thanks to the nwo bailout bill.

It not called panicking, it's called self preservation, and being smart. It's easy to say don't panic if you have thousands of dollars already in your house, which I suspect most of those who say don't panic have.

It's not the money that will save people, if the market and banks crash. It will be knowledge, caring, sharing, compassion, and people working together to make the system work again.

Who knows maybe a new system will rise up from the ashes?

[sarcasm]Yes, let's give the bad guys more reward for there tyranny.[/sarcasm]

I have a better idea, let's screw the gov and the fat cats by closign our bank accounts and sticking it to them, that way the markets really plunge and we get to the depression quicker and everyone hurts, not just us average joes, then the average joes can over throw the gov and get things to working the way they should, we need a reboot, only the strong will survive, but if we all help each other and as the common man pulls together, only the good guys will survive, the bad guys will be weeded out, seperating the wheat from the chaff.

I'm not panicing, I'm preparing for what's to come, this socialist economy will not survive, we as American citizens, no as human beings need to change, this bs about your vote counting will not do a damn thing. Your vote does'nt count, you cant throw paper at this problem, it's going to get worse and feeding the fat cats will not make things better, WE ARE NOT THERE SLAVES! WE ARE FREE PEOPLE!!!

ATS is doing what ATS does best: spread needless panic.

Why is it, time after time, on these boards, armageddon is predicted - never comes to pass - and then people STILL BELIEVE in these threads? You do know the definition of insane is doing the same thing over and over and expecting there to be different results...

Google is your friend.

I already explained what they are, if you plants heirlooms, you'll be able to use the seeds that come from the plants that you grew from them, it's the gift that keeps on giving and having a constant food supply such as veggies will be a very valuable thing.

Normal store bought seeds do not reproduce, but heirlooms do.

Seriously though, to learn more google it, I have to go to bed now.

You are insane if you think this is no causew for great concern. I say get at least enough money out to last a year! Stock up on every necessity you can, and then when the shtf, it's dufuses like you who will come begging for water, or something to eat. Dufuses in denial!
