Great go at playing devil's advocate. I'm not saying I believe this but being the conspiracy buff that I am, I've had the same thoughts. But wouldn't it be a conspiracy that people are "making up" conspiracies? I'm sorry but I'm having difficulty getting my exact thoughts out, tough day at work and somewhat fatigued. Cheers!

Edit: I take back the stating I'm a "conspiracy buff", that sounds a bit trite. I actually mean that I am a believer of some conspiracies and still on the fence about many more.

this was a lame attempt at bing the devils advocate, not a good attempt. u should try a little harder at least. indeed as someone said, if there were no conspiraciers, then it would be a conspiracy to get so many americans wondering about conspiracies. so what would their reason be for getting us thinking of conspiracies? well, it would be a conspiracy to do so.
but you make 1 very good point. yes, the huge increase in ufo sightings, the sheer number of new people reporting various anomalys, is a symptom of the internet. It is nearly impossible to know just how much of this is a real increase in occurances, and how much is just an increase in peoples ability to find out about other occurances. that is a good point that doesn't get enough attention, people shoud try to factor it in when saying things like "the aliens are getting braver and will make contact now, because there are more people than ever seeing them!" or "the matrix is getting worse! more people are noticing the glitches when they happen" or "the NWO is closer than we thought, there are more people reporting they see the signs than ever" i am positive that some of this increase is simply our ability to discuss it in real time, or near real time at least. so the post wasn't completely crazy.

There are some CTs that are totally out there:

1. Reptilian shapeshifters control the world.

2. Jews (the term Zionist is used now) control all the money (my Jewish friends always get a laugh out of that one).

3. Satanists run everything from the Masonic Lodges to the NWO (Masons are descended from the Knights Templar).

4. We never went to the moon/we went to the moon and were greeted by aliens or earlier human visitors (take your pick, can't have both).
Although to be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if the aliens were mining on the moon for raw materials. We aren't using it, so why wouldn't they?

When it comes to some things like UFOs, too many astronauts, pilots (military and civilian) have seen actual crafts that defy anything that is in our arsenal. Too many high ranking personnel have talked to reliable researchers about seeing aliens and ships in our possession. I do believe Area 51 is just a test base for our stuff, and that the extraterrestrial items are at another secret location.

Edited to amend
