Because the debt has gone over...

10,000,000,000,000

The clock that keeps track of it can not display correctly!

Oh that's just ironic.

"A whole new clock, with two extra spaces, will go up next year."

Ah, I see they're planning for the future. Such as it is.

if this wasn't so pathetically disgusting I would be laughing.
Just another prime example of how moronic this entire situation is............

I think its strange because these things always seem to happen at certain times.
Of all the days and dates...
this clock, went over today, OCTOBER 8 2008
When the markets are at all time lows.

It is too odd for it to have happened by chance...

This is one of the main problems that they try not to talk about.

This is a BIG problem and Bush and the Congress didn't pay for anything. They spent your money, your childrens money and your grandchildrens money.

Bush did nothing to control spending. He gave out 12 vetos and you have to go back to Warren Harding to find a President that gave out fewer vetoes. Reagan gave out 78 and Clinton even gave out 37.

Bush borrowed more money from foreign countries than 42 Presidents before him combined. They borrowed 1.01 trillion and Bush borrowed 1.05 trillion in his first 4 years.

It's like going to Best Buy and loading up your credit cards and then spending through your savings.

The government didn't pay for anything.

And the irony is, that more debt will have to be created in order to pay for the bloody thing to be repaired!
