Clearing the slate - Financial collapse

I suspect this is gonna hurt the rich more than the poor. Poor people are already used to fighting to survive and living on very little. I suspect that very little will change after the collapse, in fact it will probably get worse. The killings and robberies will increase, but hey people gotta put bread on the table.

Warfare, famine and disease will get worse, but I think only the rich will notice a big difference as its affects enter thier neighborhoods. Certainly standards of living will decrease for everyone.

My wife says that people will band together and help eachother. I on the other hand invested in a shotgun and lots of ammo.

I agree with you. haha. Lets wipe this clean and start over. The smart, the hrd working, the people who have an idea of whats going on around them will be able to hold their own.

The rich could even get through it unscathed if they know how to watch their money. But id liek to bottom the market out. I just hope the government wouldn't take too much "Emergency" action if this did happen.

Yes it's going to be hard but most of us will live on Let the whole money market fall and start a fresh

Let us go back to the old ways of barter for goods and create a better world and get back intouch with mother earth and let go of being materialistic

Chaos favours the brave, the smart and the innovative (and the thuggish to a certain extent!).

Whatever happens, those with the characteristics above will thrive in my opinion. The smart who are currently working in labs, or designing vehicles etc will adapt in a situation of chaos to be the ones to design survival technology and tools, learn the situation and best apply themselves to survive it.

It is an interesting thought exercise to consider a fire sale and clean slate... but at no point in history has there ever been a clean slate.

1% emergency cut in Oz with another 1% tipped within months if the economy doesn't show a positive move.

Scary times.
