Wobbly World Markets Plunge

Trading in Brazil's stock market - Latin America's biggest - was suspended twice this morning after the main Ibovespa index plunged more than 10 percent the first time, and more than 15 percent the second.

"It's a global meltdown," said Don Selkin, chief market strategist for National Securities Corp., investment advisers in Manhattan.

It's Oct. 7th in Europe and Asia, and already the world markets are showing signs of the changing climate. Markets opened with losses all across Asia and Europe. We're in for a rough week boys and girls!

Well it's the 7th....world markets (and the DOW) have managed to eke back up above 10,000. But will it last?
