In case anyone is wondering, the DOW finished down 508.39 points to close at 9,447.11. This is roughly a 5 year low for the DJI.

In other news Nasdaq is down 108.08 to close at 1,754.88 and the S&P is down 60.66 points to close at 996.23.

Not the best day for the American Markets. I hope Europe and Asia do better tonight.

Thanks for the update on the US markets. It didn't look too bad earlier in the day so I was a bit surprised.

The dow this morning is at 9,177.02 -81.08 / -0.88% with a low so far today of 9,045.76

I wonder if we will hit below 8000 today? Their is a large possibility this will happen if this trend continues. Any thoughts?
