the European markets are plummeting as I write this! it seems that Bill Deagle's vision was bang on when he predicted a financial meltdown in Europe triggering the DEVISTATING event that will occur on OCT 7th leading to Nukes in America, Martial Law etc etc.

this is getting scary... waiting for US markets to open.. things could get VERY interesting!

I don't think you needed to be psychic to predict a financial meltdown. I think that one of the down sides of ATS becoming so popular is that people seem to be coming here to get "material" for their upcoming predictions. It makes them appear to be psychic. I would be curious to see if he was calling for the meltdown on October 7th before ATS was discussing the date.

You can see other evidence of this with a lot of the brand new posters in the last few days. They pretend to be ignorant of the current "hot topics" on here like October 7th and the GFL October 14th prediction, then they cook up some ridiculous post tying themselves into the conspiracies.

A conspiracy site becoming so popular will make for some interesting scenario's that is for sure.

I've kind of ignored all this stuff that's been going on. Ignorance is bliss'n'all that. But it's actually starting to look a little more concerning,even on my megre level of understanding.

ohh boy... you should note that shares have already stopped falling, not only that, but if you think that Iceland suspending trading is such an enourmous event that what would you say of Russia suspending trading? Well, not much probably since they did that just a couple of weeks ago for 3 days, if I'm not mistaken, and the world did not end... Actually , they also did it today, and twice, it's just a fail safe mechanism.

Wow just wow. You know last week i was talking to my father who i have been slowly telling him about the pending events. He is a very hard headed guy, works for the government, and don't believe most of the stuff i say.

Today he called me and said "jim you were right, world is now having a economic cease in transactions. I am taking off today and tomarrow." And if that man caved on this! then it is the real deal.

When it is all said and done and we are in the streets heading to where ever we can, ATS people will be saying "i knew this was going to happen, i knew it and no one listened."

oh the 7th...we'll see what shes got.

You know through this whole thing, i've heard people say it was coming from MSM to people who claim to be pshycic, I never really believed that the world economy would let things tumble and have a crash actually occur.

But I will say this, I'm actually a little scared now and really thinking about pulling my money out of the banks and cashing in my RRSP's, but in all fairness would that even matter?

I mean if i understand it right a TOTAL global meltdown would mean money, no matter what country currency it is would become useless no?

Your right karl, this guy had a dream in the early hours of sunday morning, then he contacted project camelot.. They put it out straight away.. I could have predicted this date days before he did, the russians also said it last week, Hes just jumping on the band wagon nothing more..

I am suggesting that it is possible that he worked it in to his predictions. Do you think it is impossible? I honestly don't know, but if he predicted the date before the rest of the internet was talking about it, then I will happily delete my post.

What is really funny is that fact that the market across the pnd absolutley plunged overnight and if you turn on the news this morning noone is even talking about it.

I find that kind of strange? Are they ignoring it on purpose to not cause panic here?

Yeah, I noticed that CNN has had OJ's face as their lead story all night. The entire global economy is taking a bath and their lead story is about the jury of the recent OJ trial. I would say they are trying not to fan the flames of panic.

I believe so, yes.. what's more, if a majority makes a run on the banks and wants their money back, it's instantly going to collapse the value of the money.

The banks would close after a little while because they owe more money then they have, and it's instant crisis.. so, in short, you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't..

No , they are ignoring it because that's what has been happening over the past weeks / months. It's no breaking news, if the market was going up (like it did for some days over last week) that would be a news event.
What's happening today is just lightly worst than what happened last week, and very similar to what happened a couple of weeks ago.

i agree! remember that Bill also said that the OCT 7 event could be a 'Banking Holiday' where the banking system is suspended... imagine the 'civil unrest' that would develop as a result of this! thankfully the US now has active Millitary troops on duty within america as of OCT 1st (coincidence?.. doupt it.)

I mena if that were to actually happen the the worlds government are signing the death certificate of the global economy. I just cant see it as happening, I mean honestly if they freeze the banks and they shut down, how is anyone going to be able to get anything. The entire world would revolt over it.

I think the bank holiday is a myth.

So your saying this morning when people go to the ATM they will not despence any money? If they go to the store and use credit card or debit card to pay for thier purchase that it wont be accepted? Cause thats what people are referring to when they speak of this bank holiday, a total freezr on money. not just the banks doors being close.

I pretty sure if people run to the atms this morning they will be able to take out cash.
