iTunes only works with Apple iPod mp3 players. I'm guessing you will need to drag and drop the music files to the device using windows explorer.

Thanks dg,
What you do is to make an internet search for a utility (program) that converts AAC format to MP3. I'm on a mac and there are a lot of them, I'm sure it's the same for pcs.
I'll do the same and try to find one for you as well.

Are they AAC or MP3 music format?

Edit: they are probably already mp3 but to get the on your player open windows explorer by clicking:

Start button > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer

Then locate your music files and drag and drop them to the mp3 device listed in the left portion of windows explorer.

Ok, I found a free one for you.
mp3 converter

Let me know if it works out.

edit: What you want to do is convert any AAC or M4A files to MP3.
You can add the MP3 files to any player.

Once you hook up your player, it should show up in the file structure just like a hard drive or jump drive. Format the files to MP3 and drag and drop them onto the player's drive. All done.

if its an ipod then you need itunes and it will guide you through the process. i use a cheap one and it works its cooler than an ipod because i dont have to use itunes wich is the biggest piece of harbage period.

but if you plug it up and it says what to do? choose explorer or open folder and just drag and drop if it is not an ipod;
