Well it seems that our entire government has stopped doing their job no only the Treasury department but every department in our government that its secretaries are named by the president has stopped doing their job.

Add the congress and all the branches of government, as we know lawyers from the highest paid lobbyist are the ones that now write the laws for our for the people congress to pass and you now know that they are nothing than sitting whores selling their votes.

Our for the people government is nothing more now than a big privatized entity.

Now that most Americans know the secret a guess elections will officially turn into a ceremonial scam to give the illusion of democracy.

Aren't you contradicting yourself? You said that the government isn't doing their job, yet you want them to be responsible for this money?

Scary thought.

This is really turning into an end game for them. The bailout is not going to work. This type of balancing has been shown to be ineffectual when it comes to manipulating market forces.
The Congress has just placed themselves in a corner. When this thing fails, and it will, none of them will be reelected. Their approval rating is already non-existant. Yep, things are setting up for martial law. This was a multi-faceted heist brought to you by the GWB Cronies. He will get his continuity of government and the Congress will become just a memory.

Coming soon to a neighborhood near you!

And when THAT happens, I'll stop telling people to quit publicizing their revolution plans on the G-D Damned INTERNET!

What do the American people have to do with it?

The use of contractors was contemplated from the very beginning and was specifically addressed by the original version of the bail out bill considered by the House of Representatives. It even had a provision that Paulson was to provide preference to minority owned businesses to be tapped as private contractors for the program. (I believe that provision remained in the Senate version.)

Frankly, I'm still waiting for the thorough outrage that will certainly come from the American taxpayer when foreign debt is bailed out under this plan. THAT is the real outrage.

I've spoken endlessly on this whole scam and who was behind it. It's getting late, don't want to rehash though here's something to ponder:" target="_blank" class="postlink">You honor, I would like to present more evidence for the jury.

What you see going on here is a consolidation of the banks by the international bankster cartel of which 'designed' the whole system to fail periodically for their benefit both financially and for NWO aspirations. The quickest and most effective way to for an NWO was discovered long ago. Take control of a nations currency, take control of the nation.

It's just your standard avoidance of responsibility.

Anything you have someone else do becomes their problem... you get to use them as the scapegoat... and they get a huge chunk of the money.

Remember to thank your Government and the Federal Reserve for the Trillions(I estimate 7) this will turn into. This will really help your dollar, flood a system already plagued by bad credit, with more bad credit. The US of A's credit rating is sure to start plummeting with this kind of fiscal policy. The "backed by the USA" isn't worth the risk anymore. Allies are going to ruin their economies trying to prop yours up and the whole thing world wide goes bad real fast. I say the whole world gets together and agrees, everybody's debt is erased to zero. Let's start over with a better system.

Criminals only ever pay other criminals to contract out their dirty work.

I suppose if the bail out goes completely out the window and fails (perish the thought), the US government will be able to blame the private guys?

Ahh, serendipity!

is it just me or has the US gov still not learned from the whole fiasco ?

the only thing private companies are good at is extorsion and fraud.

who wants to make a $100 bet that by midway through next yar at the latest these companies will be under investigation?

Since most of us work for the Private Sector, isn't it a good thing
whenever the government infuses $$$ into our economy? Here
in Chicago, many government functions are being privatized. The
contracted companies employ thousands of people, thereby helping
the overall local economy.

Isn't it better to transfer some to the $700 billion to the general
economy, boosting the income of additional families, instead of
administering the program in-house, by government employees?

Is my view a Democratic or Republican way of looking at how the
government should operate? (I'm still learning politics) :-) -cwm

That money was borrowed from other nations increasing our national debt and lowering the value of the dollar. Now the money that you are getting the is "helping you" is worth less, it will buy less goods and services. So is this a good thing? Most of us on here will give you a resounding "NO." Your stance is neither Republican nor Democratic but American (unfortunately as most of us are so ignorant to the true situation.)

I agree that is a scary thought but look at keyholes post defining the Treasury Departments responsibilities as taxpayers not only do we have to support the operation of that clearly dysfunctional department in addition we now have to assume whatever the cost of this private contractors theft I mean advice…. not to mention the cost of the bail-out itself.

We are being so thoroughly screwed by the whole lot.

Tell me where do you think the money is going to come from to pay all those private contractors? Our already over-extended government printing money is that where? How long do you think they can keep that up?

I can tell you from personal experience when a small private sector business takes on a government contract an expense often must be incurred to accommodate the increased volume. If there was the slightest chance the government might possibly be forced to pull funding from that particular program sometime down the road the business needs to weigh that risk. I would be leery about putting my business on the line assuming new debt and expense to accommodate a broke untrustworthy government such as it is.

This really does not surprise me. When you stop and think that our central bank is a private company(the Fed). My question would be, who are all of these private contractors, who owns them? Any ties to the Fed? And remember who owns the Fed. I could be wrong, but it`s something to think about.

I like ... how a week ago, it was "bailout" this and "bailout" that.

Now it's "rescue plan" or "program"...

Talk about an effort to disassociate the $700 billion figure from the word "bailout".

Welcome to government by corporate socialism, where the money from the poor is divided amongst the rich.

I can imagine the conversation in the whitehouse:
Paulson "hey george, my buddies on wall street need bailing out"

Bush "how much?"

Paulson "about 700 billion should cover it for starters"

Bush "well, how are we going to administer the funds"

Paulson "well, I thought we could give it to some other buddies of mine to look after - they'll take a bit of squeeze out of it, but they have the expertise"

Bush "OK, it's just a drop in the ocean anyway - we can always screw joe public for some more. Or if Mac doesn't get in we can just leave the dems to clear up the mess and the deficit"

Paulson "sounds great - I'll start making calls and put it out that we're hiring erm.... "contractors" just like cheney did with haliburton. Nice one george, this is sure to help make your retirement a lot more comfortable"

Where oh where will all that money go? And why was china buying up all that debt with such a fury? You've been had.

the 'Paulson Plan' ~contractors~ are the rehires of the wall street brokers & execs that got axed when the brokerage houses/ financial houses/ bankers went under.

he's going to have a veritable Army of loyal, overpaid, execs that owe Paulson & the newly created 4th branch of government their very existance...
these ~contractors~ will not be occupied with 'mortgages' that the
Bills 3997 & 1421 were claimed to be addressing... no this army of
debt paper manipulators are going to be engaged in creating the leaner-meaner Financial Market Oligarchy... and milk profits from the nearly worthless CDS & CDO trash for cash.

Make No Mistake about it, This is the prophetic 'beast' that comes from the Land

American brothers and sisters. Im sick of all the revolutionary, we have been screwed, its the end talk thats been overwhelming the boards recently.

Yea we are all, worldwide, screwed, ready to be fed to the lions in whatever way TBTB deem as more financialy viable. But please, please stop maoning about it.

Its pretty obvious that you are the first sacrifices and everyone else on the planet are next. When it comes to my door I/we here in Scotland will do something about it, we wont/dont moan at our own stupidity and lack of bottle because it wont be an issue. Iether do something about your dire predicament or just be quiet about what is happening to you.

Simple choice...act or be acted on. I wish you could see how demoralizing most of your posts are.Demoralizing for your own fellow countrymen and demoralizing for others worldwide who are yet to follow in the NWO gameplan. Stop flaunting your own inabilities, its highly embarassing. Sorry if this seems harsh, sometimes the truth is harsh. May your chosen god go with you all.

Great little video a few posts up.

I blame congress, I blame the house, I blame Paulson...

I blame every single American who was stupid enough to sit back and eat up the 'Oh my god, we need this bailout!' bull#.

Thanks media, thanks for not having the balls necessary to stand up to your advertisement dollars and actually inform the public as to the reality of this situation.

Sometimes a lynch mob has the right idea.
