I never said the media was only attacking Palin, I stated I have not seen a hard story on CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NY times, or any other elite media on the lies from Joe Biden. I on the other hand have seen CNN, MSNBC, NBC report on errors from S.P. This is not a dont bash Sarah Palin because Joe Biden did this. This post was "Why Joe Bidens lies were never reported" If it would make you fell better I can do another post on the mistakes Sarah Palin made but whats the point we can watch or read any news to find them out.

Not to be one sided or be a pro Sarah Palin noob, cause I am not, but most of the "lies" or mistakes from Sarah Palin are disputable. When you say most budget experts, I am sure Sarah Palin can find a budget expert that says just the opposite, I would only like to discuss facts that can be checked and have no opinion context.

I find it interesting you bring up political bias. If you are going to make a thread about candidates and complain that they lie why not target every candidate? You claim this is about media bias, media bias exist everywhere, when it comes to all sorts of things. Some media is biased toward Palin and some is biased toward Biden, the important thing is not bickering over how much more bias the media is toward one or the other, the important thing to do is to hold both accountable for both their lies.

Why Joe Bidens lies were never reported

Yes, but my point was that they were reported. I've seen plenty of Biden's lies reported. What channels did you watch where there was no reporting on Biden's lies and only attacks directed toward Palin?

Thats is my whole intrest in doing this, like I said and I wont reply to you again just for arguments sake, Sarah Palins mistakes have made front page news, in fact they are even limelighted in SNL. Joe Biden on the other hand has got of scott free with very little if no coverage of his mistakes in the elite media. Fox News is a single entity when discussing elite media, just because one outlet out of 40 cover it doesnt mean its getting the attention it deserves. I believe you are using the same tactics taken by the hard left toward independents when we only want the truth on both parties... you claim were being bias. Its shameful

Out of the media I have listed, in my other posts, which ones reported Joe Bidens mistakes, "lies", whatever they are to be called?

I cant believe you are even saying what you just said. If you watched it 3 times then you would know he said them, You just made absolutely no sense by saying I watched it 3 times and that doest prove he said what he siad. I took his words verbatim and nothing was taken out of context,

Okay one more time.

I was not disputing whether he did or did not say those things

I was asking for you to cite your sources for each one of your claims that what he said was a lie. If you checked the validity of what he said via factcheck.org, and other sites, then why didn't you just include it?

Keep in mind you were telling us to not believe Biden on his word right?? Yet you were telling all of us to just believe your word by not citing sources.

. I know thats a new concept but it something as a college student you have to do everytime you write a paper.

Despite your condescending attitude, I will help you with a concept that is probably new to you: ATS also wants to see sources cited, just like your college papers. Get it? Good.

I won't reply to your post as a whole because it was repetitive, however I've watched all the news channels I usually watch, ABC, MSNBC, NBC, FOX, CBS and they all covered Biden's lies. Go to any of their websites and search for info on the VP debate.

As a registered Independent I find it amusing when people try to claim I'm using "far left" tactics. Personally I think all of the candidates involved have twisted the truth or flat out lied, and that opinion of mine is validated by many sources, which is why making a thread only addressing one candidates lies seems useless and counter productive to me unless there is some political bias showing or someone is trying, as always, to make a point about the media.

Well I've seen the media covering this issue, and I haven't seen a bias that goes more toward one person than the other. Of course SNL parodies Palin, she is an easy target, and News Papers have her on the cover because McCain picking her was a "hot button" issue, and still is.

The same amount of media attention has been put on many of the other candidates, Obama has faced many parodies and coverage that was not equal to the lack of scrutiny McCain sometimes got.

If Palin weren't a woman who has said some pretty idiot things, and who was picked after a one hour converstaion with McCain, and who has had a lot of controversy recently surrounding her including being summoned to court and a slew of family issues she wouldn't be so discussed in the media. That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

No Never Just Listen, pls, that is not my intention at all!!
First I want to address your last post, I hope that you posted that because you missed some earlier post, all of my points are backed up with where I found my facts. Once again I used Factcheck.org, I also used congress's webstie like I told you earlier, Senate.gov and I used the Alaskan PFD and various political website on Palins fight with the oil companies. I did use one website which I didnt post but it basically just restated facts from other websites I used, that site was aflcio.org. I will not point you to the exact page and place maker because the facts are readily and easily available from the main pages of each site I called attention too. Obama's voting record is a one pager, Factcheck.org has a link right on there website. If you have specific questions for an individual fact then I will show you exactly where I gained my information but my hope is that by people going and reading a little bit to find the information learn by doing so and dont just click and point and check each fact off. I do hope this helps, I thought since everyone else didnt have a problem and I did call attention to where I got my facts that you had already found them, so I will disregard your last post. Sometimes I post to quickly without checking or rereading a edited post and I miss so facts myself.

SECOND
Thanks Lucid this is the kinda debate and discussion I wanted to form with this information. Your post before the last one was the type of discussion I was looking for. I was blown away by the amount of mistakes Biden made, and the fact that some news organizations applauded his forum. I myself like Biden, he has done great work in the past, but the fact that he had so many mistakes and the press was willing to wash it away. Wether it was because Palin is such a better news attracting story or that there is liberal bias in the media is up for debate, that is one that I cant find Facts on, however I can react and take in posts such as yours. I myself believe it to be close minded bias. Bias as we have seen has caused this country so much devastation in the last couple of years I would think that everyone, not just the people would be tired of it, however, News, political control is big money to whatever side has the power now days that I truly believe the main players in this is in it just for the money, not ideology. There is no way you could conceivably think your helping a country be deception even with a high school education. Once again thank you for your respons and I do wish to apologize if I was harsh in some of my later posts. There are people that post here just to fight and I do get caught up in it sometimes. I could chose to post on an all Democratic site or an Republican site but here I can find diversity and isnt that the whole idea!

I hate to disagree with you again but liberal is a word that is commonly used to refer to Dems. Liberal basically comes from the latin word "liber" meaning free, which gave rise to the Liberalism movement in the 1800's of which the Democratic party arose from. However I dont believe far left, has anything to do with Democrat's, I believe the far left, or basically the socialist movement in this country is hijacking the Democratic party and using them as a tool to gain some power in this country. People such as George Soros has used thier wealth to buy there way into media mainstream and associate themselves with Democrats. All politicians being alike now day just look for the people with the deepest pockets and think they will use them to get where they want to go but in the end I think alot of them get blindsided. Liberal is not a bad word, my only disagreement with the being labeled a Democrat or Republican is that fact that when you take one of those labels you are expected to vote the party line. I myself have chose to be Independent, sometimes I vote right, and sometimes I vote left. I am a free thinker and I believe this country earliest leaders were independent thinkers too.
