Is there some odd reason why I can't get into chat?

I have 20 posts and still nothing... and this is ATS Chat not BTS.

Have you deleted your cookies..

And have you deleted on/off line content?

Try that.

You know I've had the same problem from day one. I tried adjusting my firewall and other things with no success.

The only thing I remember deleting are Temporary Internet files... Cookie wise I have no idea if I have or not.

If so is there a way to replace them?

It looks like some improvements have been made with the BTS chat, but I'm unable to chat for the same reason: "Need more than 20 posts to chat". (Just posted this on the other thread before I saw this one)

I'm not talking about BTS... I'm talking about ATS.

All you do is delete them and then log back on to ats
and you have a new cookie..

ok to delete them go to your start menu

go to find...click on folders...write in cookies...

then open it up and delete all of them...

then just log back in to ATS...

See if that helps

asala... how do I not delete cookies from another site

All the cookies should have little addresses under them

just sort through the junk ones..

but really it dont matter to much...when you go back to the site you re gain the cookies.

just make sure you know the pass words for sites that require them
...

have you turned off popup blockers? the chat is a popup window

A) AOL 8.0 does not have a popup blocker which is what I'm using.

B) All cookies deleted, no success.

Dude, you've got AO-Hell!

Chat is working fine on my side.

are you sure about AOL? I used it for a few days recently and I remember version 8 having one. I thought it was towards the lower right of their browser windows. Also, try minimizing AOL and firing up IE on it own and see what happens.

I still get a white screen that's it!

where are you getting the white screen? Is a window actually popping up for you? try refreshing that screen while it's up. I had similiar problems when I used AOL. (hitting the F5 key will also perform a refresh)

It still doesn't work. Using IE... and refreshing. It remains a white screen.
