You have to fight fire with fire.

Even anarchists use credit cards.

We have to make use of the tools we have now, even while we are shaping tomorrows World.

i cant tell how any of this Venus Project is any different than global socialism, based on technology instead of labor.

Great idea, but it does not account for the struggle between the current elite in the process of getting there. They are skipping a huge step here. Reminds me of the South Park Underpants Gnomes formula.

The first Zeitgeist had much more substance.

not finished watching it all just yet, but i'm really enjoying it! If you think about it, what the venus project people want to do must be possible. We all know that the current technology isn't really current. The guys in hidden labs working for the big players are the ones who know where we really are technologically.

I've been telling my friends recently about how oil & fossil fuels are only being utilized because there's still profit to be made, until they run out. That the prices will keep going up until this happens. Now, after watching this, it proves my point. We can survive for free, so why must we be enslaved to enjoy it?

As many people have said here, why exactly ARE the venus guys asking for money? All they, and the entire world, really needs are people who are ready to make the change. We shouldn't have to pay for change to occur, only be willing to make it happen. We're all globally connected through the Internet, which is readily accessible all of the time, so lack of communication is not a problem. The real problem is that because this world strives off of money, it is those with it who become the victors. If the majority of the world chose a real free life, only then would we progress.

I think the zeitgeist movies are fantastic stuff, but what's this venusproject rubbish, I visit this site which stands against the evils of money and progression of human intellect and yet the thing is full of overpriced tripe.

Good movie, bad affiliation with a group, could of been better to spread the "no money" thing of several minds on the subject not just the givememoneyproject.com

Indeed, the capitalist engine has to come to its full growth potential before reaching its inevitable stagnation point. Only at that point, that great unknown, can we speculate 'global socialism' and other utopian'esq ideals.

A massive bloody war could speed up the process for attaining these principles, but the result would be Utopia's evil twin.

I'm still watching it.. I am an hour and 21 minutes into it, and honestly I think this video should have been done FIRST and then the more religious ZEITGEIST should have been the addendum.. for more than the apparent reason that money effects all of us much more than religion does.

People need to get on this and start advertising, get the word out there.

ha, glad you turned up. When you get to it, check out 1:56:40, some serious NLP methods, which I noticed throughout the video. I normally never notice these types of things ever, or pass them off as inherent charismatic traits, but not so for this video.

Still, I found it to be well worth the watch, despite disagreeing with the direction it took.

Really, .. I shall have to see for myself, but it is quite sad, I thought they did a splendid job of explaining the possible ways of replacing our horrible energy systems.

One thing I have always had trouble imagining is what structure society would have if we actually did one day stop the banking cartel. How would we create a better system etc?

Why create a system to replace it?

Could we possibly allow a system to develop, instead?

Here's a better idea, how about no monetary system at all, no money, just trade, or just giving and sharing, of course, this is Socialism, so for it to work right, everyone would have to support it, that will never happen, so we can't have are little Utopia.

I see what you are saying. Maybe I was being a little more general in my analogy.

Roddenberry's world would come about AFTER society dealt with the issues of the role of machines...

Roddenberry's focus was on the idea that Man could reach a point where enriching one's self is the true motivation...

What I got from The Venus Project part of the video is:

Man needs to detach himself from the concept of working toward material validation...

I think they sell stuff because in order for the Venus project to go anywhere it would need testing, which is phase 3 of their aims and proposals:

PHASE THREE

To test its designs and proposals The Venus Project is working towards putting its ideals into practice by the construction of an experimental research city. Blueprints for most of the initial technologies and buildings have begun. Fund-raising efforts are currently under way to help support the construction of this first experimental city. This new experimental research city would be devoted to working towards the aims and goals of The Venus Project, which are:

1. Realizing the declaration of the world's resources as being the common heritage of all Earth's people.

2. Transcending the need for the artificial boundaries that separate people.

3. Outgrowing monetary-based, nationalistic economies with a resource-based world economy.

4. Assisting in stabilizing the world's population through education and voluntary birth control.

5. Reclaiming and restoring the natural environment to the best of our ability.

6. Redesigning our cities, transportation systems, agricultural industries and industrial plants so that they are energy efficient, clean, and able to conveniently serve the needs of all people.

7. Sharing and applying new technologies for the benefit of all nations.

8. Developing and using clean, renewable energy sources.

9. Manufacturing the highest quality products for the benefit of the world's people.

10. Requiring environmental impact studies prior to construction of any mega projects.

11. Encouraging the widest range of creativity and incentive toward constructive endeavor.

12. Outgrowing nationalism, bigotry and prejudice through education.

13. Outgrowing any type of elitism, technical or otherwise.

14. Arriving at methodologies by careful research, rather than random opinions.

15. Enhancing communication in schools so that our language is relevant to the physical conditions of the world.

16. Providing not only the necessities of life, but also offering challenges that stimulate the mind while emphasizing individuality rather than uniformity.

17. Finally, preparing people intellectually and emotionally for the changes and challenges that lie ahead.

No one is going to invest in something that doesn't seek too make money, but it will remain a fairy tale untill it's proven not only possible but desirable and showed off.

I watched the first one, and am impressed witht he focus of this one being on finacial institutions manipulation of our governments.

Just think there was a brief time when America had no debt, during Jacksons presidency. I'm about half an hour into th Addendum, and keep stopping to take notes and such.

Great education info on how we got were we are, and why. Too bad this wasn't broadcast on regular television medias, imagine the results that would occur if both Zeitgeist documentaries were released to the general public.

Going to get back to this video, at this rate it will take me 4 hrs to watch a two hour vid.

Project Venus is about a resource community that is moneyless, but its not about a trade society which would still have winners and losers, its not about competition. Its about everyone living equally benefiting equally from technology and yet still participating as evolving and contributing. Natives did not live in a communistic system, it was not a fascist regime. Theirs is a real life, long lasting resource system that they still try to remain loyal to today, and their wisdom is incredible. Imagine a world like this for everyone, with house raising like in Bali, with technology. I would have management done by short term jury duty, and much involvement from a well educated and equal communities, by people, not elites. This replacing politicians.

All in all I agree with the movie and it's direction, I am curious though scientist what you didn't agree with.

I think people function much better when they collaborate and share unbiasedly without the fear of being criticized negatively.

I find that this movie only barely scratches the surface of how well organized the financial infrastructure is, and how exactly it came to be, the whole concept wreaks of occultism, certain occult traditions that is, .. the idea of interest and other banking concepts have parallels easily drawn from occult ideologies.

Quite obviously it could just be a stretch of the imagination, but it just doesn't seem like it when I keep looking at it and researching further.

It is truly ancient knowledge that has been evolved and perfected, from simple geometry to building cathedrals, the structure and frame-work of the world has been crafted from the minds of supreme occultists in my opinion, and I don't mean smoke and mirrors poof there's a rabbit type of magic, I mean there is much more that goes into this stuff, very intricate planning, bizarre, methods for preparing the mind and body, interesting patterns and parallels drawn from the past to structure and help design the future, very intense belief creation methods by using ritual items, astrology & numerology, past events in history where certain actions caused drastic changes in human behavior are re-enacted in ritual form to create similar changes in those participating or watching, an architecture of the mind.

I believe that these secrets were passed down, the secrets I'm talking about are an ancient form of human manipulation or human psychology that far surpassed our understanding (until recently)... and these secrets were passed down and guarded with utter secrecy, although many of the secrets are so simple people are given the expectation that it is nearly impossible to figure out, so they make things much more complicated than they should be, that is unless you are chosen to know the truth.

I think I will leave it at that for now.

This is a great movie until you get to the Venus project and the attempt to knock religion.

And they are missing the entire push toward the NWO, run by the Illuminati..in whatever capacity they exist. Too much evidence for that, to much evidence for the existence of Jesus..sorry, but to turn a blind eye to it is just as bad as not watching Zeigeist; you need to ALL sides of a story before you rush to a conclusion. Or you make the same mistake as our Congress and rush to what 'feels' like a better solution, and it isn't.

The guy talking about the Venus project says it best at the end of that segment..no system is perfect. Why not? And it is that tiny grain of sand (imperfection) where you will start to form a blister. And that perfect society will then reverse, eventually returning to what we have today. Because people are NOT perfect, there is greed and there is evil. The idea is great, just not the implementation. Our founding fathers knew it, we haven't followed it and we are in the situation we are in today.

As far as the religious assumptions made in the Zeigeist film, most are pretty well refuted and taken out of context. And there are other great videos that do explain the monetary system, the central banks and the current world problem we are having.

If you don't believe in God, that is OKAY and fine, I would encourage anyone to watch these movies (the whole federation of light thing is a bit hockey to me, buy I do agree with 90% of what he says, and we DO need to focus on Love and Understanding...which just happens to be principles taught by Jesus). video

And if like me you do believe in Jesus, don't fear! we have movies like this one:

Google Video Link

And to the person referencing the Native Americans, not only was our original form of Government based on the Native Americans, but don't forget that they also had systems of trade and barter, and fought wars and raided other tribes..again, a better system but not 'perfect'.

That occult connection to the financial system is scary due to this new thread about Dr. Deagle's urgent new phone interview: www.abovetopsecret.com...
This is about the 700,000 billion bail out plan being a blood sacrifice, due to the work, blood sweat and tears of ordinary people, and if everyone doesn't protest it to the representatives and speak out in the next few days, it will be a willing sacrifice that will set a domino effect into motion and horrible things are predicted. Starting with the 7th, Tuesday, when the banks will be in lock down, then martial law, then, who knows when, but a nuclear attack predicted on 2 US cities by our own leaders, and so on until 100,000,000 people die of hunger in a year, all a luciferian willing sacrifice, willing by our silence. Our voice and speaking out and protesting, all of this is prayer and resistance, and their sacrifice voided.

Yes, I think the current monetary system is so evil it could only please devils.
