Totally embarrassed to say that I got my first album when I was very little and it was a bunch of Disney songs including...."Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

The first album(s) that I bought myself were:

Bob Seger and Boston. Man, I saved babysitting $$ forever to get those. You all thought I was going to say "Rush", didn't you? Everything that I listened to growing up I still listen to today....I'm stuck! Well, except for that Disney album.

Rush

Ace of Base...The Sign.

LOLZ

This was circa 1994 though, and I was in 4th grade.

This is me dancing to it.

edit to add: And this was a cassette tape, btw.

My first cds were TLC - CrazySexyCool, Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill, and possibly the one by All4One that was out at that time. I got them for christmas in like 95.

Aaaaaaah this takes me back
.

I was about five when I received this 45rpm record as a gift. I was so excited that I almos immediately broke it, so my dad bought me a new copy. This was about 1954.
