Democratic Congressman: Representatives Were Threatened With Martial Law In America Over Bailout Bill

www.infowars.com

A Democratic Congressman has warned that a panic atmosphere is being intentionally created in order to get the financial bailout billed passed, further stating that several members of Congress were told before Monday’s vote that martial law will be instigated in America if the legislation fails.

Congressman Brad Sherman of California’s 27th congressional district told the House in a speech yesterday evening that he personally knew of several Congressional representatives who have said they ...

It makes you wonder if passing the bill was good or not. If it wasn't passed, we might have been in Martial Law tomorrow or the next day, yet we might just be delaying the inevitable.

"Many of us were told in private conversations that if we voted against this bill on Monday that the sky would fall, the market would drop two or three thousand points the first day, another couple of thousand the second day, and a few members were even told that there would be martial law in America if we voted no." The Congressman continued.

Told by who? People connected to people who control the stock markets? Or was it an empty threat? Whatever it was, it seemed to have worked.

Martial Law... Kind of funny when our entire military is over seas.. Let's see, 500k LEO's and 350 million people who won't listen.. Who wins?? Duh!

Fear is a very potent tool for those in know to use and abuse. It's constantly used in unethical arm twisting that went on to pass this bill! The fact that our political leaders totally ignored the masses and passed this unconstitutional bill is a such a slap in the face. Our founding fathers wouldn't recognize this country that they created. God save us!

We need to flood the offices of these puppets with letters, call, protests outside there offices. Like other run away dictatorships the only way change will come about is through the mass demonstrations. Let the martial law come!

Will letters do much of a difference, though? They could always just throw them all out. Something more needs to be done.

I'm open to ideas. The problem is most people are afraid of the harassment, being gassed, thrown in jail, that all are involved in anytime you protest against anything these days. The only time that change will come is the fact that doing something is less uncomfortable then doing nothing. I think that time is now, it was 10 years ago!

Our entire military is not overseas, we always have military personell state side.

I guess you haven't heard about the brigade that was shipped back home on the first of this month and assigned to Northcom. Convient how this just happens to be happening now.

They don't need the full military at home to declare martial law. If martial law were to be declared watch and see just how fast the rest of our troops would be deployed back home.

No matter how many citizens refuse to listen average American citizens are not well enough equipped to defend themselves against the LEOs let alone the miliotary.

I think it was explained the other day there is 2 meanings of martial law.
The one congressman refer to is a political tactic in congress to try and force things on those who oppose them, it doesn't mean actual martial law on the people.

Does that matter? It was on the board. Are you telling me that the same thing can be posted over and over and over again as long as it is on different forums?

Not over and over, but there can be two or three topics about it on ATS as a whole as long as they're in different forums. I've checked this over with mods several times.

Yeah, the one you're talking about was the one mentioned days ago, this one is the one where it's enforced on the people afterward.
