I have just now seen this site. It may be old news for some, but it really blew my mind.
Ever wondered just how small we really are?
Have a look at this link

And just to think...Antares isn't even the biggest one that has been found.

There was a thread a while back I remember seeing about VW Canis Majoris, or VV Cephei...I can't remember which one is the larger. The link in the thread takes ou to a Youtube video...with really hypnotic music, it's actually kinda cool

Yes, I sould have mentioned I am well aware that ours is a small un by comparison to others but looking at it like this is pretty amazing I think.

If you want to get even deeper, it makes you wonder how a god can be so concerned about something so seemingly insignificant....

Yes, I understand how small we are, but if you can think of the distances then you will be taken aback, just an example, if the sun was represented a beach ball at some pointon the earth, then pluto would be the size of a grain 17 miles away.

This is just additional informationon how huge the universe is.

. That's a cool site and really puts things into perspective. Makes earth seem so tiny and somehow insignificant, doesn't it? Amazing! Thanks for posting that.
