Not sure what to make of this.

There isn't any backup information or anything to verify this. I guess just take it for what it is.

Homer To Vote Obama

What would you say if this turns out to be true? Anything?

Turns out it is true.

How so?

Does this have something to do with Homer voting for Obama?

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

That is too funny!

A good satire piece always hits home.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

It was rather funny. Although I haven't liked the Simpsons for years (they get progressively worse each year)

I wonder if this will upset some people though? Well, I know it will but still...

Very funny.

If you are interested in voting machine issue and conspiracies you could have posted it here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Very funny!

Ah... I love Homer. He's silly and goofy but underneath, he has a good heart.

Tearful Lisa to Homer: "You don't understand"!

Homer, compassionately: "Just because I don't' care doesn't mean I don't understand..."

What would be more funny is if Homer is nominated. Perhaps he could do a better job fixing up the country's messes by SIMPlySONS sipping a Duff and Doh'nutting us out of Iraq, Bart as head of CIA and Maggie as secretary of Doh'fense.

Not only is he voting for Obama his vote will probably be counted in a swing state near you.

Just when I thought this election couldn't get any sillier this comes along. What's next? Will the animals in the zoos be allowed to vote? Will all the dead presidents endorse him from the great beyond?

Uggg.... make it stop!

I read it this way:

HOMER GETS IT.

Sadly, not everyone is in his peer group or above.

I'm still waiting to see how this is real political news, much less "breaking".

Funny, sure. But so far not BPN material.

One more beer till a move.

Well think about it. What did we use cartoons for in politics? Political cartoons come to my mind.

Not to mention it was on posted on tv on Nov. 2, just two days prior to election. Millions of people many of them voters watch the Simpsons.

It was the 2008 Halloween episode, 'Treehouse of Horror XIX . Homer voted for Obama, and the vote switches to McCain, everytime.

Some might remember the 'David Icke' like Treehouse of Horror VII where Bob Dole and Bill Clinton are replaced by Alien Shapeshifters.

Or the 2006 Treehouse of Horror XVII were the War of the World theme is played out in a 'Iraq War' like way. If you don't remember fast forward to about 5:10...

I don't know. I think it is just a tongue in cheek way for the Simpson's writers to say what many believe to be common knowledge, and that what we call The Diebold Factor here at ATS.

Actually he voted for McCain several times. Before he was consumed by the "ghost in the machine."

Yeah, he keep 'accidently' doubling his votes for Mcain.

That was funny, I watched that episode, the tree house of horrors episodes have always been my favorite.
