Ill prove numerology exisits.

The Chinese Olympics open'd on 8:8:08.........in Chinese culture 8 symbolizes luck/prosperity/wealth etc.

888.com for example

So if it existis on that level,a whole nation beliveing in the number 8......why wouldnt other factors induldge in numerology?

911 is the American emergency number...coincidence?

I see that sarcasm is as lost on you in the same way as the amount of evidence, no wait "proof", is required to validate a theory.

Why don't you help yourself out and use the search feature to find members who have taken the time and effort to discuss this subject intelligently.

What are these implecations(sic) you talk of?

Just because lots of people believe something, doesn't make it valid, or true.

You know, most of the American people believe that the metric system is evil, and refuse to use it, despite it being adopted by the government in the '70's. Could you prove this for me numerologically ? Oh, and please show all your working out. Thanks.

And it is in the gray area forum because a certain % of people wont even open this thread because its posted in the gray area

They will think its not worth reading becuase its in this forum, plus i didnt see a numerology section so it was here or skunk works lol

OK, I have to step in here, because I actually study numerology. The 08/08/08 example is not numerology. The actual breakdown of the energy of that date would be calculated like this:

08+08+2008
which reduces to
8+8+10 or 1 (2+0+0+8=10 1+0=1)
8+8+1=17
1+7=8

The energy of 8 is wealth and abundance, as well as excellence and power. 8 reaches out into the world and expands it. The use of 8 as a 'lucky number' is cultural superstition and has nothing to do with numerology.

To explain numerology would take far longer that is possible on a forum such as this. Even the simplest book on the subject is over 300 pages.

Your right. This thread has taken a very sour turn. I do not discount the validity of numerology. I just don't see the proof in this thread. Maybe the OP can expand off his original post. It's a good topic but just needs some substance.
