'Views' Counter is Lying

I was only going to contribute a nod, confirming that the same happened to a thread of "mine" yesterday (11 replies but no views at all... wow).

But that's not why I am actually posting this.
At the risk of being banned, or clad in an iron maiden, or, well, something, I just have to say that this thread contains some of the most amusing and witty posts I've seen in a long time...


P.S. There, I've actually flagged it, so I can easily find it whenever I need a good laugh.

Who would have thought a computer glitch could result in so much happiness?

What if the flags were to disappear? Maybe we'd end up going out into the streets and hugging strangers.

Is the counter down or hidden?
I mean, is the database still incrementing the number of views behind the scenes or is the little man with the clicker on vacation?

The mystery is solved at last:

What's happened with our page views?

The only problem is this guy's thread lights up the homepage while mine languishes in obscurity.

So now my insecurity complex has been replaced by an inferiority complex.
