Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura is to host a new investigative series for television channel TruTV which promises to look into different “conspiracy theories” and weigh up their validity.

Now this is what I'm talking about! I think that this kind of a show could do our kind of folk some good. Jesse Ventura, as in your face as he is, makes a lot of sense a lot of the time and I think he would be pretty aggressive with stuff like this.

I am actually surprised he hasn't considered doing something like this earlier.

I trust he will do a much better job of proving/debunking conspiracy theories than the over-sensationalised Mythbusters team.

In fact I know he will.

I would think so. He has been very vocal lately about that kind of thing- the things going on behind the scenes that are hidden and yet affect us in very large ways. I think he is just the man for the job.

If he does this show..

I can tell you there will be no Ventura on the ticket in 2012.
