Not necessarily if the ship itself was within the event horizon
(aka Schwarzschild Radius) of a special type of quantum energy field
call Negative Energy of artificial proportions.

Some interpretations of quantum mechanics do allow gravitational
fields to be negated by "Negative Energy" that is at best what
I can interpret, as allowing a large mass to distort only local
space & time so in effect that the weak gravitational field
of a mass has NO EFFECT outside of it's own locality
nor is affected by masses outside it's own local Negative Energy field.

I can interpret this as being much like a black hole
that distorts the path of light and other energies
and other masses BUT ONLY within the local event horizon.

A black hole as we know it today, DOES affect bodies outside
it's own locality simply because of it's large mass and therefore
non-local and far-reaching gravity field.

A negative energy body/field would have NO EFFECT upon
any body or energy that is NOT within the local event horizon.
So in our case, a spaceship shielded by "Negative Energy" would
NOT actually be in our time & space until we or our ships or other
bodies cross it's local event horizon. No gravity field or time-space
distortion would be present or visible outside of that event horizon
because the "Negative Energy" possibly contains NO gravity field
as we know it thus we neither see the shielded body nor ascertain
it's presence by distortions or actions against other bodies that have
mass and thus gravity....Hope I explained that right!

LMCO and a few defence contractors have done some research into
field effects that support just such non-conventional physics where
bodies can be shielded from the effects of other masses and also
limit the effects upon external masses by taking advantage of
"Negative Energy" (i.e. I don't know any other term to use
to adequately describe such a field) to create locality-restricted
event horizons which cannot be seen nor detected by current
instrumentation - we know this more commonly as the
Star Trek-like "Cloaking Device".

I personally know of NO such device that can CREATE an artificially
created "Negative Energy" field of designed proportions and know
of no device that could create the energy levels to rip apart enough
of our quantum space so as to ALLOW negative energy fields to be
created let alone sustained. --- BUT since our physicists can IMAGINE
the quantum mechanics of such a field, I highly suspect that all it
takes to make it a reality is an adequate energy source and enough
computer horspower to create/track/sustain/monitor the interactions
of such fields within our local space/time sphere of influence.

SO it looks like AGAIN that science fact is catching up with science fiction!

I understand many people are confused and uncertain of the future and the outcome of current events. This causes people to lash out at anything, even should someone truly want to help. Much like a wild wounded animal lashes out at anything, even a helping hand.

It's not the UFO sightings that aren't being taken seriously here...it is the entire GFL/FL proof (or lack thereof) that has been displayed. I am sure if you start from page 1 on this you will see how this all started.

I've always felt that sense of "waiting." Especially lately.
