I'm in agreement with the poster in that unless some massive event happens, there's no cause for national Martial Law to be instigated.

Personally, if a total economic meltdown does not occur, my money is on a deliberate flu pandemic in the future sometime - perfect reason to round up the people into camps to section off the infected from the rest of the population, perfect reason to instill martial law due to all the panic /civil riots that will inevitably take place, perfect opportunity to kill of large amounts of the world population (which IS part of the plan) and perfect also in that the world has been conditioned to accept such a pandemic as inevitable sooner or later, it's been in the news for 2 years now. Such an event would look highly "natural", meet with minimal suspicion and achieve various things in one fell swoop.

Of course, if the entire economy does indeed collapse, perhaps then there would also be a reason to bring in Martial Law, especially if the repercussions are worse than the great depression as some are predicting. Whole sections of society could start "losing the plot" as they lose everything they have, their are food shortages , mass protest marches, civil unrest etc etc. Such a collpase COULD ensue yet, and do so pretty soon, so I think it premature to bring dates into this issue because no-one can really be sure the economy WON't entirely collapse by Oct. 15th.

I'm kind of new here, even tho i've been lurking for a little while. Please have patience with me as I have a question.
Why would the NWO or any government want to exterminate half the population? I mean the population is the entirety of the tax payers. Without tax payers then where would the governments or whoever get thier funding? Seems like they'd want to keep up alive.
Is it because of lack of resources? Current estimates state that there's enough to go around.
Or because a disaster, attack etc would lead to more control by taking away rights? Honestly I dont get that either. It seems like societies that restrict rights dont do all that well in the long run. Think about the former soviet union. Yes there are lots of other repressive regimes in existence today. But it seems like they arnt very prosperous.
maybe I'm missing something. I look forward to reading any responses.

I wondered about that too and did some research on Eugenics and found it to be a real eye opener. Apparently, these "elites" think there are just too many of the wrong kind of people, like Hitler. It's the same mentality and this is how planned parenthood came about and the zero population growth idea. Apparently, this movement was born in the US, you can easily research it on the web, there's lots of interesting stuff in George Bush The Unauthorized Biographry

It's unbelievable what's happened in the name of eugenics, a lot of the current leaders have made statements early in their careers that affirm they're serious about getting rid of some of us, and marshall law would give them the freedom, or lack of accountabilty to get away with murder, literally.

Personally, I'm offended, and who are they to take command of the planet? Just weeding out the riff raff (that would be us)

There is so much info on these boards it is hard to keep track of. I usually never comment on the political ones because I have the belief that the officials are chosen and so are thier tasks. But this thread is interresting. However, after watching what ol'George had to say on the news this morning (which I rarely catch cause of lack of interest in any TV) I only have this fact to add:

He needs a new hair stylist!

It is hard to take a president seriously who neglects personal care. But this bill is going to get passed one way or another. From what I can tell it is only the politicians that think this is what is needed, and aren't listening to the people they "govern". There is going to be only one way to fight this thing and that is for everyone to go on strike...from school, work, paying bills, going to the stores, etc. But like the thought of having a revolution, no one will ever stick together because americans are too dependant on the system, too lazy, and too afraid to stand up until it's too late.

For the people who think thier opinions actually count and believe in this government but don't like the idea of this bill, call your representatives or go to Washington to voice your will get passed anyways. For everyone else who looks at this as something pre-planned from the NWO in an attempt to conqure the world, what do people do? From what I can tell just about everyone has an opinion about this and the NWO, conspiracies, etc, but no one is offerring one is grouping together to confront representatives with opinions...all people want to do is simply not deal with everyone else. We are separated by interpreted lines that do not exist...similar to those at the local grocery store. They aren't there, but implied and everyone follows along accordingly.

But investing is the only thing which is going to help ease the pain of all this...investing in vasaline cause otherwise it is going to hurt!

There appears to be some confusion whether we're in Marshall Law or not.

The most frightening part of Rep. Burgess’ one-minute floor speech is when he says, “Mr. Speaker I understand we are under Martial Law as declared by the speaker last night.”

We have military forces doing active duty on American soil, right now! Isn't that Marshall Law? Some snippets from the Army Times:

Army Takes To US Streets

Published on 19-09-2008

Source: Army Times

The 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team has spent 35 of the last 60 months in Iraq patrolling in full battle rattle, helping restore essential services and escorting supply convoys.

Now they’re training for the same mission — with a twist — at home.

Beginning Oct. 1 for 12 months, the 1st BCT will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command, as an on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks.

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

This is in place - right now - and they want $700 billion? There's an election coming??? Congressmen are saying we have Marshall Law, I think what they mean by that is we are now under Marshall Law - it's time to hit the panic button, perhaps call them and say No, we're NOT going to have Marshall Law, nice try through.

The 1st BCT’s soldiers also will learn how to use “the first ever nonlethal package that the Army has fielded,” 1st BCT commander Col. Roger Cloutier said, referring to crowd and traffic control equipment and nonlethal weapons designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals without killing them.

In that case, I have a startling conclusion to tell you:

Every NWO conspiracy theorist here is actually an NWO agent!

That's right. Think about it...what's the biggest thing these posters do? Incite and spread fear. Every topic they bring up, every incident they write about, every conspiracy they unearth, they all share one thing in common: fear!

It's a brilliant double-play aimed at misdirection. Furthermore, consider their rote response any time you disagree with them: they call you a dis-info agent, when in fact, it is they who are the agent--a double agent, at that!

Now that we have that particular cat out of the bag, NWO theorists--pay attention, we're onto you.
I think you have a point here.I believe it may be unintended, but that is how these people(the banksters)work.By obfuscating the real issues for the people who are on to them. This way other people who are just as deluded on the other end of the spectrum have ammo against what they deem as "conspiracy" theories. It is the old and reliable "divide and conquer" tactic in textbook form.

I don't believe your statement to an extent.

I do think a marshal law might happen in October. This is due to seeing posts on ATS about Russian intelligence saying British banks got notice from federal reserve that bush will declare marshal law in the week of oct5th.

I am still open minded I think that it could happen and could not but I do understand why people would think it would happen and yes it's possible he can declare it due to civil unrest.

you don't have to be nuked to call marshal law you need a emergency that needs quick action to be the reason on why to call it.

I do think we will be in such a situation only if when the economy falls and everyone goes stealing goods and crime rises which would be good enough to call for a marshal law.

I hope I am wrong because I seriously don't want to have marshal law ontop of a economic fall.

My guess is after the financial calamitys die down they'll allready have your money, with people so deep in debt they wouldn't be able to pay taxes even if they wanted to..

They'll need workers, not earners.. perpetual debt, perpetual slavery..

And I so hope I am wrong..

*edit* I am no soothsayer.. making predictions ain't one of my skills, but I would not be surprised if there wàs a martial law out in the open, right in your face, pretty soon.

thanks MD11, typing error.. edited for spelling :p

Just wanted to point out what only some have figured out-

It is spelled MARTIAL LAW, not marshall or marshal.
Some information from Wikipedia:

"Martial law is the system when military takes control of the normal administration of justice.

Martial law is sometimes imposed during wars or occupations in the absence of any other civil government. Examples of this form of military rule include Germany and Japan after World War II or the American South during the early stages of Reconstruction. In addition it is used by governments to enforce their rule, for example after a coup d'état (Thailand 2006), when threatened by popular protests (Tiananmen Square protests of 1989), or to crack down on the opposition (Poland 1981). Martial law can also be declared in cases of major natural disasters; however most countries use a different legal construct, such as a "state of emergency".

In many countries martial law imposes particular rules, one of which is curfew. Often, under this system, the administration of justice is left to a military tribunal, called a court-martial. The suspension of the writ of habeas corpus is likely to occur."

And as it applies to the USA:

"The martial law concept in the U.S. is closely tied with the right of habeas corpus, which is in essence the right to a hearing on lawful imprisonment, or more broadly, the supervision of law enforcement by the judiciary. The ability to suspend habeas corpus is often equated with martial law. Article 1, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution states, "The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion, the public Safety may require it."

In United States law, martial law is limited by several court decisions that were handed down between the American Civil War and World War II. In 1878, Congress passed the Posse Comitatus Act, which forbids military involvement in domestic law enforcement without congressional approval. The Military Commissions Act of 2006 possibly rescinds these limits by suspending habeas corpus, but the law is not clear on whether it applies to U.S. Citizens. Since, USNORTHCOM [5] has increased its direct involvement with civilian administration."

These are the types of Soliders they have based in Colorado doing Homeland security of you and me! He is the 7th soldier from this unit up for KILLING !

News breaks
"Ft. Carson soldier accused in killing"
A Fort Carson soldier who declared on MySpace that he was becoming a "cold hearted killer" in search of a sex slave is in custody on allegations he murdered a 19-year-old woman.
Robert Hull Marko is at least the seventh soldier or former soldier from a single brigade at Fort Carson to be charged with homicide. "I'm becoming a true Black Raptor already, i'm becomeing a cold hearted killer and can kill without mercy or reason," Marko, 21, said in a misspelled missive posted under the moniker Rex290 on his MySpace page.

I come across this that 'someone' has commissioned and paid for NORTH AMERICAN UNION POLICE : Unmarked Gunmen....see evidence here in video

And find this worrying as was predicted from December 2007 - "US Nuclear Strike on Iran - Martial Law Declared in US"

20th October 08 – Article “Militarization of the American Homeland”

Same day article Good Read

Senator John Warner wrote a constituent who had expressed alarm over the 1st BCT's attachment to NORTHCOM. Swanson commented,
22nd October 08 – David Swanson breaks story “Sen. Warner Supports Domestic Use of Military” – A citizen of Virginia named Moya Atkinson wrote to Senator John Warner to express concern over the recent violation of the Posse Comitatus Act created by the assigning of U.S. soldiers to duty within the United States, reported by the Army Times as intended for "crowd control" among other duties. This, like other changes imposed by President Bush, of course violates the Posse Comitatus Act. It also served to strengthen the threats of martial law that Congressman Brad Sherman reported the White House making to Congress members in order to win their support for the $780 billion give-away to Wall Street.
Warner sent back the following note, [] proposing that, rather than changing the president's behavior to comply with the law, we should -- as with warrantless spying, habeas corpus, etc. -- change the law to comply with the president's behavior:
“This, like other changes imposed by President Bush, of course violates the Posse Comitatus Act. It also served to strengthen the threats of martial law that Congressman Brad Sherman reported the White House making to Congress members in order to win their support for the $780 billion give-away to Wall Street. (

People need to wake up and see what actually is happening to America.

No one is even aware of this.
