I'm really surprised this story isn't getting more attention. You hear about the Urkrainian ship, but not the Iranian ship. If reports about the health effects on the pirates are true, then this is a very, very serious situation.
He said the Iranian ship with 28 crew members including two Russians, two Pakistanis and a Syrian would soon be freed once the $2 million ransom agreed upon was paid.
Galrahn does offer up the possibility of a Russian rescue of the Iranian ship, based on early reports of Russian ships headed to the area
After a two-and-a-half day siege, Russian OSNAZ forces pumped an unknown chemical agent into the building's ventilation system and violently raided it. Officially, 39 of the terrorists were killed by Russian forces, along with at least 129 and possibly many more of the hostages (nine of them foreigners). All but two of the hostages who died during the siege were killed by the toxic substance pumped into the theatre to subdue the militants

Pirates die, but the original crew of the ship lived?
Either way, a crew with no sickness, and pirates with sickness sounds odd to me. Food poisoning? Gas? Covert operation?
Either way, the Pirates received a dose of their own doing.
Depleted Uranium ammunition maybe??

Good. That is pretty much how I really feel about this. I hope they died slowly and were in great pain. We should sink every ship they take. That is the only way they will learn a lesson. Block all food and aid as well. Let them all suffer.

Has this hijacking even been confirmed? You'd think this would have alot of international attention (it plays right into the hands of the PWB) but I can't find any confirmation. Most sources are circular in nature. Is this just internet rumor?
