Pirates die, but the original crew of the ship lived?

www.eaglespeak.us...

The Pirates demand was the following:

He said the Iranian ship with 28 crew members including two Russians, two Pakistanis and a Syrian would soon be freed once the $2 million ransom agreed upon was paid.

Russian ships were being sent to the area...

Galrahn does offer up the possibility of a Russian rescue of the Iranian ship, based on early reports of Russian ships headed to the area

Then as I think about the oddity of this story, I am reminded of the Russian theater rescue some years back.

After a two-and-a-half day siege, Russian OSNAZ forces pumped an unknown chemical agent into the building's ventilation system and violently raided it.[1] Officially, 39 of the terrorists were killed by Russian forces, along with at least 129 and possibly many more of the hostages (nine of them foreigners). All but two[2] of the hostages who died during the siege were killed by the toxic substance pumped into the theatre to subdue the militants

en.wikipedia.org...

Either way, a crew with no sickness, and pirates with sickness sounds odd to me. Food poisoning? Gas? Covert operation?

Either way, the Pirates received a dose of their own doing.

Peace

Nobody can make their story straight it seems considering this ship, US (they see but don't touch), Iran(what do they have onboard), Somalia(some more money won't hurt them), The Pierats themselves(ok they re justified, they re pirates afterall), UK or else the Royal navy (all of a sudden they feel warmhearted against pierats and they don't shoot) Israel. (What? Why did I say Israel? Maybe there some seriously dangerous kosher food in these containers, people got sick after all) Russia (they are steaming down there..strangely enough they started steaming down there a day prior the Ukranian thing happened yet they confirmed this was their original destination)

Most of all the involved parties TIMES also won't get a straight story if asked. The events have been developing since 21 August and they happen to catch on this story JUST NOW! After the Ukranian vessel snatch which happened at a later date than the Iranian one.

Probably the ship is carrying something was not supposed to be there, it might not be the mother of all shipments but incriminating anyway, every other nation involved in the Iraq Iran issue is nearby throwing tea parties around teh ship and Israel is nowhere? I can't understand those people. They seem to miss all the good parties.

There's just too much Kosher ingredients in that recipe and I wont touch it!

Yes, this is a reply to my own post - whatever. I correct my post. I went to work after posting this, and was thinking about it. This is from a news source is it not? Since this post is under the "Breaking Alternative News" forum, I am going to assume that it is. It seems to me that this news source is attempting to scare us into thinking that Iran is constructing nuclear weapons to bomb the United States. The symptoms that were reported undoubtedly fit those of radiation poisoning. This is a case of undercover thought manipulation. However, I don't believe this was the intention of the OP - Iran, radiation, news. This fits the MO of social engineering.

Depleted Uranium ammunition maybe??

No way DU is only a alpha emitter
Alpha particles will no go through a piece of paper.
Yellow cake can not be that ether, not radio active enough.

This sound like only one thing and that is a uranium fluoride gas made from spent reactor fuel.
en.wikipedia.org...
this is a product of spent fuel processing and highly radioactive.
being a gas it could be dispersed on deck around the victims and if the crew was careful and stayed up wind they would not be exposed.

One breath and the pirates would be screwed but it would disperse rapidly and the crew could walk through the area 10 minutes later with no ill affects.

UF6 is used in both of the main uranium enrichment methods, gaseous diffusion and the gas centrifuge method .

Is this from china going to iran and there gas centrifuges.
Waste from iran's gas centrifuges going to europe to be used as a WMD.

I have a idea that the Navy seals have been under the ship with radiation detectors and have a good idea what they are dealing with.

Yeah, I worked on a project that involved chemical weapons, and we were trained pretty extensively in what they do and do not do, and what they are describing doesnt sound like any chemical weapon I have ever heard of. Sound exactly like some sort of radiation exposure.

Chemical weapons act fast. And none that I know of have anything to do with your hair falling out. MAYBE if you got a blister agent all over your scalp, but that would be so easy to identify it would not be a medical mystery at all.
