Is it safe to drink ones own urine?

where I live, you always carry some vinegar when going to the beach in the summer...you just never know. Those suckers sting pretty bad...though usually I end up using it on someone else. So far, it's worked very well though, but I'd rather smell coke than vinegar, hehe...
