A bomb threat phone call shut down nearly all of Pakistans airports yeterday, yet nothing actually hapened.

Officials said security at airports would remain heightened, although the deadline of 12.40pm given in the call had passed.

Needless to say this caused untold delays in people arriving at the airport checking in and so on. this also has a knock on effect world wide. Not only in heightened security but mass flight delays from one country effects numerous others.

I am sure the authorities did the right thing shutting down for safety, but if a terrorist wanted to blow something up I am sure there would be no phone call.

Since 9/11 the job of the terrorist to instill fear has been made alot easier. All they need to do now is make one call and chaos ensues. No need for expensive or dangerous explosives anymore.
