Between 3 and 6 hours, but I do between 6-8 workunits per day on 1 machine.

Hi meddled!!

Welcome to the team(s)!!

This question has been asked several times in the past, as you can imagine, for example here .

Your machine sounds very impressive!!

I run two machines, a P4 2Ghz with 256RAM and a P4 2.6Ghz with 512RAM. Both use the client version of S@h.

Machine 1 - the 2Ghz - takes about 6 hours to crunch 1WU: the 2nd machine - the 2.6Ghz - around 4 hours. Essentailly, I average around 10WU's a day with this setup.

I hope that helps??

Good luck with SETI@home - and please consider joining our BOINC team when the "change" takes place (keep an eye on xn's excellent overview for developements!!
